Towards the virtuous friend, have the perception of the Buddha; towards the Dharma he teaches, have the perception of the path; towards the Sangha who practice thus, have the perception of companions; and towards all sentient beings (198), have the perception of an only child. These are the pure instructions of aspiration. Now, briefly explaining the nature of the instructions for entering, divided into separate explanations, the first is indicated by 'entering' and so forth. On top of having extensively taught the instructions of aspiration above, the instructions for entering have six pāramitās. Among them, the first five, such as giving, are the supreme accumulation of merit, and the last one is wisdom, which is the great accumulation of supreme wisdom. The Buddha is not present with only the two paths of skillful means and wisdom firmly established. On top of that, adding the four of skillful means, power, aspiration, and wisdom makes ten, which are the common wealth of the sons of the Victorious Ones. The second part has two parts: explaining the order of the intellectual strength of the person who enters, and extensively showing the divisions of what is to be entered. The first is taught by 'intellectual strength' and so forth. How the sons of the Victorious Ones accomplish entering through the power of intellectual strength has three aspects. Here, one who first obtains the state of omniscience, which is the object of one's own deliberate effort, and then desires to liberate beings from the ocean of suffering of existence, is like a king (199), with great aspiration bodhicitta; one who desires to liberate oneself and beings simultaneously is a supreme wisdom hero like a siddha; one who desires to liberate all beings first and then desires the state of peace later is an incomparable bodhicitta like a shepherd. In order, the dull ones are liberated in thirty-three countless eons, the middling ones in seven, and the sharp ones in three countless eons, so it is appropriate to wear the armor of the essence of diligence that arises from the foundation. It is also said, "One carries the great burden of sentient beings on one's head. It is not beautiful for the supreme heroes to walk slowly. Because oneself and others are bound by various things, one should act with a hundredfold diligence." As it is said. The second part is extensively showing the divisions of what is to be entered. The first is the pāramitā of giving, which is giving and so forth.

Etc., to explain. Among them, there are two types of giving: Dharma giving and material giving. The first type of giving is characterized by non-attachment. The Garland Sutra says: The giving of a Bodhisattva is without attachment, without non-attachment, without attachment. Attachment itself is not, without attachment, without non-attachment, without attachment. That's how it is said. Second (200) is the explanation. If classified, there are three types: Dharma, material, and fearlessness. Although from the main aspect, the first part talks about Dharma giving, from the main aspect of action, here the two types of material and fearlessness giving are linked together. First, material, etc., to explain. There are also three types of material giving: giving, great giving, and extreme giving. Giving refers to giving away food, clothing, vehicles, elephants, land, etc., that one owns to others. Great giving refers to freely giving away sons, daughters, family, etc. Extreme giving refers to giving away whatever the beggar wants, such as head, limbs, heart, liver, etc., for things that are difficult for ordinary people to do. In other words, one must first get used to giving. For those who are bound by stinginess, thinking that one hand is the giver and the other hand is the beggar, practice repeatedly. For any food such as vegetables, before it becomes dry, rotten, or destroyed, one must learn to give. The Engaging in Bodhisattva Behavior says: Habit (201) makes things easy, there is nothing that is impossible. Just like it says. Second, fearlessness, etc., to explain. Fearless giving is: protecting the lives of others who are sure to die, and in any place of fear, rescuing them in any way, and placing them in a place of peace where they can breathe. When learning in this way, one must also measure one's own mental strength and act accordingly. If one clearly cannot do it, but uses rash rituals and mixes impure giving, it will become an object of reproach. In particular, great giving is the realm of behavior for those who have attained the forbearance of non-arising Dharma. Before the thought of compassion is extremely pure, giving away body and life is prohibited in the Compendium of Trainings. Why? Because the mind of a beginner is like the flesh of a wound, unbearable.
