These are the source of all sufferings (83), the abode, container, cause and effect, and master of all sufferings, which should be known. The cause of all arising, karma and afflictions, should be abandoned. Having distanced oneself from unfavorable factors, where should one enter? Thus it is said. Having abandoned in this way, a person of intermediate capacity should understand the path of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, understand suffering, abandon the origin, rely on the path, and attain cessation. Those who ride the chariot of the Four Noble Truths will manifest the ultimate cessation, enter the realm of Nirvana without remainder, and again reach the inconceivable realm of the Victorious Ones, the supreme state of liberation. Therefore, in order to explain that all phenomena arise dependently, it is said, "Dependent Arising Dharma," etc. Dependent arising is the root of all cyclic existence phenomena, namely ignorance. From this arise formations, and consciousness, and name and form, from this arise the six sense sources, from this arise contact, and from contact arises feeling, from this arises craving, (84) from craving arises grasping, from this arises existence, and from existence arises birth. As long as there is birth, there will be the suffering of not getting what one wants, and sorrow, and sickness, old age, and death, etc. Therefore, an extremely large mass of suffering is accomplished. Therefore, the Four Truths are reversed, and by ceasing birth, all cyclic existence phenomena will cease. Therefore, this profound cause and effect of dependent arising is the treasury of the truthful words of the Victorious Ones, and should be cherished. In order to explain the ultimate antidote to abandonment, it is said, "Thus," etc. Although this is so, the karma that creates existence, that throws one into high and low states, and black and white, that is, all the phenomena of the cause and effect of virtue and non-virtue, transcending these, whatever is the peaceful and supreme object, whatever is the closeness, does not come from others, but arises from the realization of the unborn nature of phenomena. Commentary on the Fourth Chapter of the Treasury of Qualities. At the beginning of the supreme path, the first of the two teachings and explanations of the Four Great Wheels is what is said in "Place," etc. (85), of the Dharma of evil friends, etc.

A place that is free from harm that can become an obstacle, relies on the harmonious places that will be explained; relying on the holy person who is endowed with all the qualities of learning, contemplation, and meditation, thereby attaining all qualities; diligently practicing the meaning of what has been said, with good wishes for accomplishment; generating faith in cause and effect, accumulating the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, until attaining omniscience, the aspiration of the refuge, these four, the Naga King calls the four great wheels. Then, why is it said to be a wheel? Just as ordinary sentient beings such as elephants travel day and night, a chariot with four wheels travels and reaches in an instant. Similarly, the chariot of the noble path that leads to the state of omniscience can be easily reached, hence the establishment of this name. Second, the explanation is divided into four: according to the order above. First, indicating the place, in order to stay away from the hustle and bustle, it says "sangha" etc. Thus, children who are not in accordance with the three doors gather and rely on the edge of illegal activities to spend their days, like poisonous food. The objects, the five objects of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and the conditions, the three of greed, hatred, and delusion, are extremely fierce in their behavior of taking and abandoning, so in all aspects they become deceptive, therefore, stay away from them, in your own solitary and quiet place, delight in the means of pacifying conceptual thoughts. Not being attached to gain and respect, like the wind in the sky, without attachment to dwelling and possessions, soaring in the sky like a bird. In order to show the merits and demerits of entering or not entering such activities, it says "like a deer" etc. Like a deer, staying alone in a quiet place, that person will not be disturbed by the scattered behavior of the three doors, and by cunning people. Another, if one constantly relies on a place, then in order to protect oneself, one must look at the faces of others, and be troubled by taxes and so on. If one acts according to human customs, but the sentient beings of the degenerate age are extremely unruly, so trembling with fear, due to the cause of disputes, one's own strength of patience will be diminished. Among the three doors, the mind is the main one, so it says "mind" etc. Thus, the mind is extremely unruly,
