It is said that there was a man who had no children. He prayed to the worldly gods, and as a result, he had a son. He raised the son well and named him Norzang. He also became proficient in worldly scriptures and all kinds of knowledge, and lived with three wives. Once, a hunter with a flat yoke went to another mountain to hunt. In a place abundant with leaves, sprouts, flowers, and fruits, he saw a hermit practicing asceticism living there. He prostrated to the hermit and asked, "How long have you been living here?" The hermit said, "Forty years." The hunter asked, "Have you seen any wonderful things during your long stay here?" The hermit said to the hunter, "Have you seen Lake Maki?" The hunter said, "Yes, I have." The hermit said, "This is called the Brahma-taming Pond. This pond has all kinds of flowers and water birds, and is surrounded by many fragrant flowers. On the fifteenth of every month, the king of humans or non-humans, the tree-daughter Yidroma (Charming Mind), comes here surrounded by five hundred daughters, performing various bathing and massages, and captivating minds with dragon dances, dances, and various music. Hearing these sounds, I feel very happy and joyful, and I have seen such wonderful things that allow me to spend seven days." Hearing the hermit's words, the hunter thought he must catch Yidroma with a rope. When the fifteenth of the month arrived, he approached the lake and hid, waiting. Soon, Yidroma came with her entourage and began to bathe. The hunter caught her with the rope, and the entourage all fled. Yidroma said to the hunter, "Good man, do not touch me." The hunter was afraid she would escape, so Yidroma took off the jewel from her head and gave it to the hunter. At this time, the young Norzang also arrived there to hunt and met the hunter. The hunter thought that this girl was suitable for this young man, so he offered her to him. The young man carefully observed her and found that she had none of the faults of women and possessed all the virtues, and he was very satisfied. So, Norzang, taking the adorned Yidroma, went to the city of Elephant House and lived in the top floor of the palace.

They lived happily in a certain place. At that time, two Brahmins came to travel. One relied on the king and Chishu (78) Norsang. The king made him a courtier and gave him a share of enjoyment. The prince also gave him a share of enjoyment. He said, "Young man, when you ascend the throne, what will you do for me?" (The prince) replied, "In that case, it will be just like your friend serving my father." When the old king heard the courtier say this, he became jealous and thought of a way to prevent the young man from obtaining the throne. In the mountains of another country, there was a robber named Pa who often harmed that place. In order to eliminate him, a large army needed to be prepared, and a way had to be found to make the prince the commander, so that he could not return. So he cunningly reported this matter to the king, and the king said, "Let's do it that way." So the king summoned the young man and instructed him in this way. The young man also agreed, and when he was about to leave, he remembered Yizhuoma, met her, took the jewel from her headdress, and instructed, "If Yizhuoma's life is in danger, offer this jewel, otherwise do not give it." So he led the four armies and set off. Due to the power of the king's merit, Vaishravana, one of the Four Great Kings, vowed to help him, and instructed the five Yaksha leaders, "Lead your army to conquer Rivo (79) Pa." As instructed, they conquered those people, completed the task, set taxes, and captured prisoners. When the army returned, King Norjen dreamed that a vulture came and took food from the king's table and flew around the city, and also dreamed that the seven treasures filled the entire house. The king was very frightened and told the Brahmin courtier about this. The courtier said, "This dream foretells that you will lose the throne and that the king's life will end." The king asked, "Can it be avoided?" The Brahmin replied with deceptive words, "Whether it can be avoided depends on many factors. If non-human fat is burned, the king can get rid of the disaster." The king said he would do so.
