The land is vast, the head is broad like an umbrella, the hair is black like bees, dense without gaps, soft, unentangled, does not fall out, has a fragrant smell, there is a auspicious emblem on the heart, and swastika patterns on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Furthermore, the lower parts of the fingers and so on are adorned with seven right-spiraling swastikas. Moreover, the expressions of peacefulness and wrath are immeasurable and inconceivable. The third point is explained by "wisdom" and so on. Each of the five wisdoms contains four retinues, totaling twenty-five. The Dharmadhatu wisdom, being immovable, is like the form of space, transcending the limits of knowable objects. The mirror-like wisdom, free from the dust of grasping and being grasped, is effortless and naturally becomes the basis for the growth of various qualities. The wisdom of equality, all phenomena are without substance and self-nature, without distinction between samsara and nirvana, and dwells peacefully in the realm of peace. The wisdom of discernment constantly and without obstruction knows the suchness of phenomena and all knowable objects. The wisdom of accomplishing activities is beneficial to others, free from attachment and obstacles, and activities are naturally accomplished. The Ornament of the Sutras says: The mirror-like wisdom is immovable, the three wisdoms rely on it. The wisdom of equality, the wisdom of discernment, and only the wisdom of accomplishing activities. The fourth point is explained by "retinue" and so on. The retinue of that field is other continuums, namely the bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis. When the teacher measures the dharmas of the body, he emits light, just as dirt appears in a mirror, and just as the obscurations of knowledge of one's own ground appear in the clear mirror of the marks and signs of the teacher, recognizing the difference between oneself and the teacher. The obscurations of bodhi are extremely difficult to measure, and one diligently practices and goes to the eleventh bhumi, the All-Illuminating. The Secret Essence says: In the supreme Akanishta, the body is the form of Vairochana. To the retinue of bodhisattvas, the supreme Sugata does not speak, but shows the measuring of dharmas by the body, like a mirror showing, eliminating all bad colors of objects.

(586) When the retinue thus beholds the body, the obscurations to enlightenment are unfathomable. The body appears like a mirror. Then, the ten bhumis are gradually mastered, and unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment is attained. Thus it is. Fifth: It is shown by 'time' and so on. The measure of time is that the great masters of the ten bhumis, in the realm of the three worlds' protector, the essence of no-self, the inexhaustible wheel of adornment, from the nature of body, speech, and mind, until the retinue of teachings has not become one in intention, they conquer the Mara of death, and as a sign for the sake of the world's accumulation of goodness and wealth. As it says in the Uttaratantra: 'The lord of Dharma, having conquered the Mara of death, because of no-self, the protector of the world is constant.' Thus it is. Sixth: It is shown by 'those to be tamed' and so on. Which field is the great antidote to the five afflictions such as the delusion of those to be tamed? And the five kayas shown as teachers, the five excellent dharmas, and the five kinds of transformed wisdom, from the path of seeing onwards, up to the end of the ten bhumis, are gradually perfected and go to the essence of perfect enlightenment. That is, at the time of the path of seeing, the delusion arising from imputation is transformed, and the alaya (587) dissolves into the dharmadhatu, the essence of the wisdom of dharmadhatu is attained, the first bhumi, the Joyful One, is attained, and Vairochana is seen. Similarly, in the three small stages of the noble path of meditation, pride is transformed, the mind consciousness dissolves into the dharmadhatu, the wisdom of equality is attained, the second to fourth bhumis are attained, and Ratnasambhava is seen. In the three middle stages, the attachment to all-knowingness is transformed, the afflicted mind dissolves into the dharmadhatu, discriminating wisdom is attained, the fifth to seventh bhumis are attained, and Amitabha is seen. In the three great stages, in the eighth, the seed of anger, the thorn of conceptualization, and the alaya consciousness are transformed, mirror-like wisdom is attained, and Akshobhya is seen. In the remaining two bhumis, the seed of jealousy and the five sense consciousnesses dissolve into the dharmadhatu, and with the four correct discriminations, the activity of benefiting the ocean of realms of beings is carried out, becoming the nature of great waves of activity, and accomplishing wisdom is attained, and Amoghasiddhi is seen. Then, the great bodhisattva at the end of the continuum is empowered by all the Buddhas of the ten directions with great rays of light, and shows the manner of becoming a Buddha.
