It is so. It is said so. Like the stars scattered on the sea when it is free from the wind, the water has no attachment to them, and the stars do not move from their positions. Although the appearance of the environment does not cease, the awareness has become completely clear and unobstructed, so there is no bondage. Second, letting go of awareness: In the "Transcending Mind" it says: "The meaning of the holy one is free from mind, When all the senses are liberated at once, When one's own established views disappear, Without attachment or grasping to anything, Truly tasting the nature of reality, Without relying on the turning of the three realms, Like space dissolving into space, The supreme yoga is also like that." Thus, the self-aware expanse is vast and without boundaries, clear without inner or outer limits. That which appears has transcended words, and the defilements of the three realms have been exhausted. Third, letting go of appearances: In the "Heap of Jewels" it says: "When phenomena appear as signs, My qualities appear naturally to me, Do not take or reject them." Thus, the appearances of the five objects, like unmixed colors, the clarity of awareness shines like a mirror, not intentionally collected, nor prevented by antidotes, not abiding in its own place, but transforming whatever appears into vast spontaneity, without exceeding the state of dharmata. Fourth, letting go of the mountain king: In the "Without Letters" it says: "Letting go of the mountain king is the secret view, It is not doubt, movement is naturally absent." Thus, when the intention abides in the state of dharmata, like a mountain king unmoving, gaining confidence, the various appearances of conditions are unmoving like the wind. Thus, if one can attain the measure of realization of these stages, in the "Transcending Mind" it says: "Who has taken such experience? The signs and measures are as follows: The body is light and clear and unobstructed, Not touching the ground and without beginning, The power of speech is complete, dualistic speech ceases, The mind is able to transform at will, The eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body senses, All have ceased, The measure of becoming without self-nature." Thus, if we separately explain the differences of the three signs, the completion of the body sign obtains ground in the bardo, the completion of the speech sign on the body obtains a nirmanakaya pure land, if the mind sign is completed on top of the two, then liberation in the bardo in three instants, if all three are completed, then one's own benefit has reached its end, but with great compassion considering the benefit of others, blessing the life span for hundreds of millions of kalpas, finally manifesting perfect enlightenment. Possessing the signs of body and (539) mind, one can in ten years

From... onwards, it transforms into a light body. Although it possesses the signs of body, speech, and mind, it cannot accomplish the benefit of others due to its basis. Therefore, from two years onwards, three thousand beings in the bardo are liberated simultaneously, and the elements return to their original state. The manner in which the body burns is described in the flames. The way of liberation is different in terms of speed, but those who pass away in the city of the pure realm of primordial nature itself, because the defilements of the five aggregates are purified, attain perfect and complete enlightenment, and depart with the five auspicious signs of light, sound, body, relics, and earth tremors, are called manifesting perfect enlightenment. Furthermore, for those who still have the defilements of the five aggregates, there are four ways of dying: the death of space and dakinis, which is liberation through the original purity of trekchö; and the death of flames and vidyadharas, which is liberation through spontaneous leap-over tögal. The first is that because even the subtle defilements of wind-mind that obscure space are completely purified, the inner space has reached the point of exhaustion, and the outer body also instantly transforms into dust. Just as the space inside a vase merges with space when the vase is formed, the suchness of awareness held by the five aggregates merges with the nature of the dharmadhatu. Therefore, space and awareness are pure, equal, and inseparable, and enlightenment is attained. The second is that just as no one sees the corpse when a dakini or an emanation dies, the dependent body and the supporting intellect merge. The remaining body, like invisible dust particles, disappears in an instant, and awareness also dissolves into space and does not return, like a great arrow shot. The third is that although the defilement of wind-mind is purified, and the way awareness dissolves and the space of liberation are one, just as the firewood that can be burned is exhausted and the fire that can burn no longer exists, the inner elements are exhausted, and the gross body transforms into a mass of light and vanishes. The fourth is that when vidyadharas rise from ground to ground, they go with sound and light in the sky, and benefit others in other realms with inconceivable miracles. Thus, the body born of the ripening habit is transformed into a light body, and for the sake of establishing others, they remain visible to all beings. This principle is also as stated in the "Sun and Moon Conjunction Sutra": What is the death of a dakini? Likewise, the death of a vidyadhara, like a flame,
