The great Gar Pandit Vimalamitra, his rainbow body great transference, dwells in the sphere of the five certainties of the clear and empty Sambhogakaya, the unobstructed manifestation of great compassion, appearing in the guise of a human, is well-explained by our ancestors, the one eye of the three realms of beings, the all-knowing Dharma King Longchen Rabjampa. From that ground, the way of liberation of Samantabhadra is: At that time, in the moment of seeing the appearance of the ground, that is, the first Buddha, Samantabhadra, the light of the appearance aspect does not spread into confusion, but in the magical display of self-appearance, the awareness transcends the unpredicted ground. That ground itself ripens into fruit, that is, with the wisdom of recognizing one's own nature, in one instant, the difference between wandering in samsara and nirvana with awareness and non-awareness is thoroughly distinguished. After distinguishing, the nature of wisdom also ripens into body, not relying on other-born conditions, but spontaneously abiding in its own place (505). In the Gongpa Kadro it is said: At that time, the six dharmas of Kuntu Zangpo, destroy the six ignorances of base consciousness, in a little bit, only the mind is empty, a little bit of awareness arises and awareness diminishes and is destroyed, Sara is clear and the darkness is gone, Wala arises and there is no dimness, free from exaggeration and slander, ignorance is gone, unchanging like the sky. Listen, Vajrasattva, confusion and ignorance are reversed and destroyed, the unpredicted is self-destroyed and empty, the separation of sentient and non-sentient meets the base, therefore the darkness of ignorance is removed. Like that. That is, with a little bit of awareness, it transcends the base. Because there is only awareness, the appearance of self-appearance is not interrupted. Because Sara is clear, the difference is distinguished. Because Wala arises, it is liberated on top of the distinction. Because it is free from exaggeration and slander, it does not rely on other conditions. Abiding in the unchanging self-place, that is, possessing six special characteristics. In the very moment of becoming the great master of the ocean of body and wisdom. In one instant, it becomes manifestly enlightened. As it is said. In the Sound Transformation it is said: Thus, from the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana, the Buddha has not become confused, by the power of transcending the base, self-appearance (506) knows that there is no self-nature, the objects of understanding and analysis are not lost, the movement is cut off on its own. Like that. Some people think that liberation is in the spontaneously accomplished precious base itself, which is a word that does not understand the key point, in samsara and nirvana.

If the basis of liberation, where to go, is not indicated, then there will be no delusion in the beginning either. From then on, the state of not returning cannot be determined either. So, where is liberation? The great manifestation of the spontaneously arisen eight-petaled lotus, without grasping it as something other than the wisdom of reason, but understanding that the ground's own essence arises, delusion naturally returns, and it dissolves into the essence of non-self, the inner space of simplicity, purity, and great equality, is called the Buddha of the Great Perfection, the original purity. Thus it is said in the Jambalashuddhatantra: "In a single moment, distinctions are made; in a single moment, complete enlightenment is attained." So it is. From then on, the uninterrupted arising for the benefit of others is indicated by "when" and so on. At whatever time, while not moving from the sphere of the primordially pure Dharmakaya, the great clear light is liberated without distinction, and having appeared as the Sambhogakaya, the spontaneously accomplished door that is full of the qualities such as the ten powers, from that (507) power, the kalpa of the Great Brahma is arranged, and from that, the Nirmāṇakāya appears purely and naturally, and the teacher who is in accordance with the appearance of sentient beings from the impure gate of samsara, in order to empty samsara, the activity will never end. The great accumulation of merit of knowing the self-nature of the uncontaminated Dharma, with the power of uninterrupted strength, the great teacher who is perfect in dominion, his field and activity are equal to the Dharma realm, the upper and lower and mutual limits are inconceivable. The appearance of the Buddha himself is just that. Since there is no grasping at duality in it, there is no conceptual thought about those to be tamed and those who tame. Just like the wish-fulfilling jewel and the great wish-fulfilling tree, effortless compassion appears to others. The details will be explained in the chapter on fruit below. The way sentient beings are deluded is indicated by "that itself" and so on. That very liberation, the sentient beings of the three realms of ignorance, although they are not deluded in the beginning by the great spontaneously accomplished basis, the appearance of the basis, without recognizing the self-essence, the sudden cause is the same self-nature. (508) From that itself, a subtle discriminating consciousness arises, the ability decreases, and it is born simultaneously. From then on, great conceptualizations arise about names, meanings, self, and others.
