Therefore, each takes the essence of water. Furthermore, by moving the wind wheel of the skeletal channel (Tibetan: སྒྲོམ་མདོ་), the fire wheel is ignited at the junction of the three channels (Tibetan: སུམ་མདོ་), and the essence of wind is extracted from the melting of the bindus of the four chakras. The bliss wisdom associated with the four joys (Tibetan: དགའ་བཞི་) arises in the continuum, which is the common practice of the upper gate. The second is, contemplating the four chakras of the heart, navel, throat, and crown, as Samantabhadra, the great bliss bindu, the pure union, the four vast and all-pervading instructions, like the teacher of the continuum. Through this contemplation, the essence of the four chakras dissolves into the clear light that is free from movement, and the essence of the essence dissolves, thereby arising the supreme, unchanging clear light, non-conceptual, which is called the instruction of the upper gate's subjugation and taming. The instruction of the lower gate's play of the three realms is that, through the play of the four mudras of the non-duality of skillful means and wisdom, the three actions of descending, returning, and scattering of bindus are performed from the channels and elements, thereby manifestly enjoying the co-emergent wisdom of great bliss. Secondly, the detailed classification of wind, the general categories are indicated by "movement" and so on. The moving wind has two sources, large and small. The large one flows twenty-one thousand six hundred times in one day and night. If it is divided into small ones, the wind that is equal to the number of eighty-four thousand conceptual thoughts is what generates the mind, so it exists like a mount. In order to classify from the perspective of function, therefore "root" and so on are spoken. The five root winds are: the life-sustaining wind located in the heart, the equalizing fire wind located in the navel (424), the pervasive wind located throughout the body, the upward-moving wind located in the upper body, and the downward-clearing wind located in the lower body. The functions of the five are, in order, sustaining life, generating the heat of fire, nourishing the body, the movement of breath, and performing activities such as walking, excreting feces and urine. Among them, the male wind, the upward-moving wind, is located above, the female wind, the downward-clearing wind, is located below, and the neutral wind, the equalizing fire wind, is located in the middle. As stated in the Compendium Sutra: "Upward moving and downward clearing, in the middle, the wise seek the key point." The inner wind has the colors of the five elements. For example, the winds of the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space are, in order, yellow, white, red, green, and blue. They are the support for the aggregates, elements, and sense bases to abide, and also the impure toxins.

The five and the five pure wisdoms each serve as the basis for the arising of cause and effect. In particular, when the five essential winds of the five elements enter the central channel, ultimately the samadhi of the birthplaces of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, as well as qualities and miraculous powers, are accomplished. That is, when the right wind enters the central channel, it is like smoke; when the left wind enters, it is like a mirage; from the fire (425) wind arise light and flames; the water wind is like clouds and the moonlight in the eye; from the earth wind arise the color of gold and lightning; the space wind is initially blue, and from that arise drops of five lights. When all enter the central channel, five lights arise, as well as rainbows, drops, deity forms, stupas, palaces, half-nets, lotuses, and so on, appearing infinitely. The Magical Net states: When the essence of the five winds becomes powerful, the five wisdoms within the five lights, the five pure lands traversed by the five bodies, and the five ultimates, etc., are attained. So it is said. The secret wind is the five wisdoms, which are extremely contrary to coarse phenomena. The third, the manner of the elements' dwelling, is explained by what is called the third, etc. The third, the arrangement of the bodhicitta element, has two aspects: conventional and ultimate. The first is: from the Roma channel comes the nectar of the nature of the moon, that is, the white element descends from the upper end of the Roma channel, from the crown of the head; and from the Kyangma channel comes the dust of the nature of the sun, that is, the red element descends from the lower end of the Kyangma channel, from the secret place, from the letter A. The ends of the male Kyangma and the female Roma channels are knotted (426), thus guarding the two elements from leaking. Therefore, elsewhere, the pure white and red essences arise from the Roma and Kyangma channels. In all the knots of the channels, in the manner of heroes and yoginis, entwined and abiding here, the bliss-emptiness offering of nectar is taken by the union of vajra and space. The Vajra Dakini states: Just as wisdom is entered into, by those who possess true union, the white crown of the Tathagata, is contained within the mind and enjoyed by that. In the state of supreme joy and delight, one becomes pleased. So it is said. In order to explain those from the perspective of examples, in short, etc., it is said that, in short, the channels that are the basis of the body are the paths of wind and drops.
