Due to such causes, in any situation of samsara, there will be high and low rebirths. Thus it is said. In this way, there are three realms of rebirth, two kinds, outer and inner. Firstly, the outer is easy to understand, while the inner is described in the Sutra of Universality: "The coarse body is the desire realm, the subtle speech is the form realm, and the extremely subtle mind is the formless realm. In those three cities, the noble child of luminosity dwells." This shows the difference between the mind as the basis and the self-born wisdom as the dependent. These three have distinctions of coarse and subtle, and are known as the city of manifestation, the city of half-manifestation, and the non-(35)-manifestation city. Furthermore, there are the four possibilities of increase and decrease of virtue and vice, and the four possibilities of whether one karma or many karmas lead to many bodies or not. If you want to know more, please refer to the great treatises. If one has already accumulated improper karma, can it be restored? Is there an equal opportunity? The sutra says "How" and so on. For example, a great fire burns and incinerates objects, so the remedy for it, which is to extinguish it, is nothing other than water. Similarly, the only refuge that can save from a non-place is definitely the Three Jewels. Therefore, those who are deceived by selling images, scriptures, and stupas, or who take oaths, or who slander and abandon the place of refuge, those who are burdened by the heavy load of sinful deeds, will temporarily fall into the lower realms. Even the compassion of the noble ones cannot match them, because they have no opportunity. In order to truly show the difference between mind and mental factors, the sutra says "Regarding this" and so on. The previously mentioned mind and the five sense consciousnesses alone do not accumulate karma, but other than that, what is created by the afflicted mind of beings, which is the explanation of various kinds of conceptual thoughts, like water and waves, the karmas of mind and mental factors that are naturally related (36) are countless. Although it is impossible to determine the ultimate number with reason, in the first aspect, which is the ten forms of body, speech, and mind as the basis and the dependent, summarizing the causes and effects of what to accept and reject, there are the karmas of body, the karmas of speech, and the karmas of mind. Firstly, regarding the karmas of body, the sutra says "Of the body" and so on. There are three of the body, namely killing, taking what is not given, and sexual misconduct. Firstly, killing is when the consciousness is not confused.

Cutting down other people's trees, and harming by hitting with stones and sticks, and defiling, etc. Taking what is not given means stealing knowing that it is someone else's property, and taking by means of inappropriate punishment, etc., deception, and taking by deception, such as using unfair scales, etc. Wrong sexual conduct means receiving payment for making a prostitute have sexual intercourse with another person, that is, paying and setting a time, but cutting it off in the middle and providing sexual contact, etc., and other acts of sexual intercourse with non-practicable places such as the mouth and anus. As it is said in the Abhidharmakosha commentary: "The faculties of the limbs themselves make efforts, etc." The second is about speech, and so on. The four of speech are the lies of ordinary people, and saying that one has attained virtues that have not been attained, saying any of the great lies of the superior human dharma, causing others to be confused, and deceiving others' minds by deceiving consciousness with a pretense of honesty. Slander means causing those who are harmonious or neutral to be split by sowing discord, and speaking ill, and repeating it to others to create hatred. If you think that lying and slander are similar, then the former is the mind of deception and the latter is the mind of division, which is the difference between them. Idle talk means frivolous words, that is, generating attachment and aversion from jokes and games, etc., and meaningless words that are incompatible with the Dharma, such as war, thieves, and robbers. The Omniscient Great One said: "Idle talk means words that are not in accordance with the Dharma, and frivolous, arbitrary words that are spoken as they come." Harsh speech means revealing the hidden faults of others, piercing the heart, becoming a thorn in the heart, and causing others to be unhappy with sweet words, etc. The third is about mind, and so on. The three of mind, first, is greed, which means being very greedy for the prosperity of others' wealth, thinking that one should get it and take it as one's own, and thinking, "How wonderful it would be if the property of others (38) belonged to me," craving and tasting. Harmful intent means always wanting to torment others, and the five dharmas related to the nine things make his heart troubled.
