I, the second Buddha, the holder of the lineage of Padmasambhava, the treasure revealer Jigme Lingpa, having received the vows of refuge, have established laws in accordance with my Dharma. Regarding life and merit (280), etc., not knowing contentment with the free enjoyment of beings, chasing innocent wild animals, destroying beehives, creating the cause of hell. Especially trusting in wrong views and evil sects, having no regard for karmic consequences, following the mantra practitioners of inferior shamanistic Bonpos, performing blood sacrifices as ransom for the sick, this is the general aspect. Specifically, for doctors like Zekar and others, it has also been ordered that from now on they must turn back from that path, therefore you gods and demons, please abandon jealousy and hatred. Diseases and famines, hail and frost, landslides and animal mutations, uneven terrain, quarrels and disputes, human deaths, livestock disasters, property losses, insect plagues and wild animal attacks, etc., for the phenomena that harm the causes and conditions and reversed interdependence of sentient and insentient worlds, please abandon these hostile aspects, and generate the mind of peaceful enlightenment! If you violate these, then the punishment of the truth of the Three Jewels, the power of the profound nature of Dharma, the powerful strength of the dakinis and Dharma protectors, will shatter your heads, devour your hearts, stiffen your limbs, burn your internal organs, and ultimately cause you miserable beings to experience unbearable suffering in the great city of hell, therefore please abide by the vows! Samaya idam rakṣantu (藏文:ས་མ་ཡ་ཨི་དན་རཀྵནཱུ།,梵文天城体:समय इदं रक्षन्तु,梵文罗马拟音:samaya idam rakṣantu,汉语字面意思:誓言,守护此). Place this on your head. After that, at Tsona (མཚོ་སྣ།), a grand and complete consecration ceremony was performed on the precious "Hundred Thousand Tantras" for two full days. (281) In the catalog, I continued to write a draft of the prayer of the "Hundred Jataka Tales" attached to the temporary topic. In general, compared to other patrons, the courage and generosity of this kind of virtuous gathering of the local ruling family are incomparable. Because they value cause and effect, and do not increase the burden on the people, I think this is the root cause of great merit, and the treasure revealer also praised this. Mainly relying on their own contributions, and also encouraging the guides to generate bodhicitta, offering implements, etc., and also soliciting some donations, saving the lives of ten sheep. Monkeys, turtles, parrots, etc., were not given away.

Generally, compassion arose for those who were trapped in suffering. In particular, in order to lead them onto the path of practice, I practiced mind training with the monkey as the support for patience, the mongoose as the support for loving-kindness, and the turtle as the support for compassion. Therefore, I also understood the key to the accumulation of merit and wisdom of the great Bodhisattvas increasing moment by moment. In general, someone urged me to exchange someone else's peacock for the experience of peaceful practice, which seemed to accumulate inner compassion. Those who know karma should be ashamed of those who imprison animals in cages for profit. On the way back, in the village of nomads, someone said that livestock needed to be taken care of by hand, which seemed to be to reduce death and disaster. I thought that even a large herd would soon be slaughtered by swords, so immeasurable compassion arose for the suffering of beings (282). I recited the Hundred Syllable Mantra and the tantric mantras of the Action Tantras, and made prayers. On the edge of the age of weapons, I established connections with Dharma and samaya substances in the homes of the rich. I made offerings and prayers to Jowo Rinpoche (Shakyamuni Buddha image). I gave a reply about the wisdom of self-nature to the tea request of the Eight Traba (place name). With the wealth I obtained in the South, I established the Kanjur (Buddha's words) for seven days on Mount Pal (place name). I gave away white rice, barley, paper, and on the day of liberation, I gave away silk and silver coins. I also installed Han Chinese silk behind the Vairochana Buddha statue, as well as high-quality southern silk canopies, banners, and victory banners. At Mount Dechen (place name), I offered two servings of tea to the Sangha and distributed four hundred layuk (unit of measurement) as alms. I heard that in the South, there is a demon known throughout the world, appearing in real and illusory forms, as the support and the supported. It said, 'Knowing that you are a holy person, I do not harbor malice. If you go somewhere, I will create obstacles.' The signs of this demon called 'Hermaphrodite Head' are also clear. In general, the causes of obstacles arising for those who practice the holy Dharma are not understanding reality and clinging to self. Furthermore, insufficient accumulation of merit, violation of vows and samayas, lack of devotion and full of doubt, breaking boundaries and not thinking about faults, and lack of courage and wisdom, all cause beings (283) to feel controlled by spirits and great people. The king practices the Dharma, so he gains great benefits.
