Now obtained, is not an ordinary thing. What is thought of in the mind, is only Dharma, This is not something an ordinary human body can achieve. Only the generation of Bodhicitta is most important, This is not something an ordinary religion can achieve. Abiding in self-nature, self-meditation, This is not something an ordinary view can achieve. Between me and you, there is no separation, With the truth of mingled minds, And the blessings of the Three Jewels, And the power of the Three Roots, And the activity of the Dharma protectors, May the practice according to Dharma be without obstacles, May even the name of hindrance not exist. For one's own benefit, of the stages and paths, May abandonment and realization increase like the waxing moon. (770) Even after mastering the Dharma lineage, May one perform the service of benefiting others and spreading the teachings, May sentient beings pervading the sky, Achieve vast benefits. This was said by Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa. To the incarnate guru, disciples, and translators, I prostrate with all things. In the glorious Samye Monastery's Dharma Wheel Hall (built around 767 AD by King Trisong Detsen of Tibet, located in present-day Zhanang County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet), In the hall with turquoise floors, After opening the sacred mandala of the Guru's Secret Assembly, At the gathering of more than two hundred people, At the time of bestowing the sacred empowerment, When the appearance of bliss and emptiness, free from conceptualization, Was unwavering in its state, On the white return scroll of Jigme Trinley Ozer (Fearless Activity Light), The following pictorial words appeared. The footprints that came from Lower Dokham, Possessing the sound of unborn letters (771), From that land, with red and white representing skillful means and wisdom, The associated clay paste, possessing wondrous qualities, The specially taken medicinal mud, And the two body-image photos of Guru Rinpoche that came from the illusions of Lhasa, From the coincidence of gathering in my hands, The body-image that multiplies from one to many, Appearing countless times in Tala, The auspicious connections naturally gather for the teachings to flourish in the center of Dokham. This place is naturally gentle, therefore, The activity of the supreme Bodhicitta, Is in accordance with it, a sign of entry. The color may be red and white. Skillful means and wisdom united, the heart of ultimate truth, Whichever of the two Bodhicittas, Does not contain all other Dharmas, Therefore, all activities of benefiting beings and spreading the teachings, Emerge from that door. (772) The seed originated in the Mongol region, The sprout grew in the U-Tsang region, Benefiting others is practiced in Kham and Mon regions, May the future, past, and present all, Be filled with auspiciousness! May ignorance, the root of all diseases, be uprooted.

O Wisdom's Essence! Transcending the ascetic practices of ordinary medicine, I bow to you, the embodiment of the supreme physician! Therefore, as long as this body exists, it is characterized by the skandha of form. When the three elements—wind, bile, and phlegm—are in balance, the nature of disease lies dormant, as if it has not transformed into a disease state. However, when these three elements are imbalanced, they transform into disease states such as excess and accumulation. Moreover, it is because of the existence of this body that the suffering of illness is felt. Therefore, (773) the thought, "Is it like this?" is the skandha of feeling. Now, the continuous contemplation of pain, thinking, "I am being afflicted by such a disease," is the skandha of perception. Various past actions, as well as incorrect diet, clothing, medicine, and treatment, cause the disease to worsen again, which is the skandha of formation. The great pervader of all these is the skandha of consciousness. Now, you great meditator have realized the nature of mind. Because the place of origin, dwelling, and cessation of mind are investigated but cannot be found, and it cannot be established anywhere, therefore, the place of origin, dwelling, and cessation of disease should also be investigated. In a state where it cannot be established anywhere, maintaining naked awareness, if there is no body that thinks "I" and no mind that clings to "I," then the clinging to the skandha of form (774) will cease, and the disease will be like a dream and an illusion. Similarly, instead of thinking, "I am being afflicted by such a disease," if the one who is sick examines their mind inwardly, then the skandha of feeling, which manifests the pain of illness, will cease, and what cause is there for the mind to enter emptiness? When it ceases in this way, the skandha of perception, which takes the burden of continuous pain upon the mind and body, will be interrupted. By cutting off the root of all that arises and the various conceptual thoughts that arise from it, the skandha of formation will also cease, and there will be no cause for illness to arise again. The great essence of all that, consciousness, only follows conceptual thoughts and is subject to ignorance. Therefore, for non-conceptual awareness, the great self-illuminating wisdom, neither samsara nor nirvana, neither happiness (775) nor suffering will arise. So, the so-called illness does not exist within the knowable. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: The noble ones do not have old age and sickness.
