Relying on attachment, this illusion of appearing as non-existent, the key instructions of generation and completion stages arose to purify it. When habitual tendencies are exhausted in the expanse, in the clear light emptiness of mind itself, both samsara and nirvana are without names, therefore one will not take an evil body again. At that time, the mind cannot be cut, and there is no one to burn with fire or transform with water, there is no doer, object, or experiencer (573). Because one has seized the stronghold of realization, they are called Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri. That is called the ultimate Buddha, that is called the primordial protector, that is called the perfection of abandonment and realization, in that there is the unspeakable "Emaho" and the endowed Mani Bhadra. Seeing the lama as the actual Buddha, understanding the instructions as the essence of nectar, seeing samsara as a black poisonous snake, for you who possess all the qualities of a disciple, fully explain the key instructions for clearing away the obstacles of the six aggregates, keep them in mind. Beautiful and not beautiful, pleasant and unpleasant, melodious and unmelodious, delicious and not delicious, fragrant and not fragrant, soft and not soft, are the causes of the six aggregates flowing outward. Know that it cannot be established through understanding, and through experience, one will purify into great self-liberation (574). Through conceptual thought, primordial emptiness, without root or basis. All beautiful things are objects seen by the eye, the one who is attached to beauty is the eye consciousness. All happy things are the arising of objects, the one who grasps at happiness is the alaya consciousness. All melodious sounds are external sounds, the one who grasps at melodiousness is the ear consciousness. All delicious things are the essence of food and drink, the one who considers it delicious is the tongue consciousness. All fragrant things are the distinctions of smells, the one who grasps at fragrance is the nose consciousness. All soft things are clothes and other tactile sensations, the one who clings to softness is the tactile consciousness. The so-called six aggregates refer to these, if one realizes self-liberation without abandoning them, then in the nature of awareness, these cannot be established. Samsara and nirvana, good and bad, happiness and suffering, good and evil (575), the many will surely become the great one taste. If you say one taste, then cling to it. If you see beautiful things, attachment arises, and if you see not beautiful things, hatred arises, because attachment and hatred are fixated on the mind, even if you recognize your own face, it is still subsequent wisdom. Now continue to practice unattached self-liberation. Likewise, for melodious and unmelodious and so on, observe the six aggregates in the mind with awareness, spend your life in the vast nature of liberation at the edge.

May the sun of (greed, hatred, and delusion) be extinguished! May you realize the root eradication of attachment and aversion without a place! When bad circumstances clearly arise as Dharmakaya, by being seated on the throne of the king without meditation, I go for refuge to that person. In reality, for the sake of gaining profit and fame in this life, cultivating bliss, clarity, and non-thought in meditation, even if such a realized being has great power, the mind of a young person (576) will not be moved even a hair's breadth. Unattached, self-liberated, dharma-less yogi, with a relaxed and open mind, continuous and uninterrupted, the key instruction is the refined essence of gold. I lovingly advise you who have faith. May afflictions be self-liberated through virtue! In your own Tögal practice, if deity forms appear, no matter how many or few, completely cut off attachment to the fields of manifestation of the spontaneously arisen Sambhogakaya and so on. May your own awareness, in the form of radiant light, emerge from the center of your heart. May the far-reaching light of a water lamp emerge from the eye gate and be transferred to the heart of the deity. In the state of non-duality between the deity and your own mind, free from the dualistic grasping of what is seen and what sees, please meditate in your natural state. This is a precious instruction on the union of the sun and moon, which is too precious to explain, so keep it secret. Deliberately (577) meditate on emptiness, without falling into a state of unconsciousness, this memory of clear awareness, is inexpressible and beyond the mind. That is called view. At all times and in all circumstances, just remembering and just being aware, is given the name meditation. There is not a single hair's breadth to meditate on with an object. In reality, view and meditation are inseparable. Although there are many kinds of conduct, they are all leaps of conduct that are in accordance with the Dharma. May this letter of view, meditation, and conduct be absorbed into the heart of Khachö Rigdzin Drolma, Samaya. Ah. This present, unmade knowing, is Samantabhadra in the ultimate sense. There is no meditation, but there is fear of distraction, leave it in its own state, my child. Distinguishing between experience and awareness, this clear and inexpressible memory, is the natural state of Kadag. (578) Abandon desires, my child. Talk, fame, power, and so on, are demonic deceptions for accomplishing enlightenment. In a remote mountain valley, practice the rainbow body, my child. This teaching called "Three Words of Heart Advice" was written by Dzogchenpa Pema Wangchen Yeshe Rolpe in the forest of Mokpa Lhatse on the border of Do and Tibet.
