Therefore, the unchangeable nature of the Tathagatagarbha, uncorrupted by the five aggregates and eight consciousnesses, is because the non-elaborating yogi abides in renunciation, transforming from the originally pure wisdom, without the slightest omission, and it is sufficient to maintain it solely with the continuity of mindfulness. The reason for this is also clarified in the Bhadrakalpika Sutra: "Seeing no self-nature is meditation; seeing no birth is wisdom." This is clear from that. From that state, how to transform conceptual thoughts into the path is also as mentioned above. The Guhyagarbha Tantra states: When external objects appear as many different things, whatever internal memory or conceptualization arises, recognize that it is appearing on the object. The power of appearance is complete. Staying in that state, whatever arises, let it naturally disappear without a trace; or let it be confused and transformed; or relax what appears. By stopping and restraining through any of these three methods, the Dharmakaya can be established in its own nature. If you don't really understand, you will become distracted. If the power is not complete, it will disappear even if you look at it, so you will not be able to overcome obstacles. If it does not disappear naturally, it will lead to direct cutting off, etc., so these three points are very important. So it is said. Furthermore, regarding whether mere mindfulness serves as the basis for meditation, the Omniscient One said: Beginners should relax fabrication, practitioners should not relax the nature of reality, Those who are accustomed to it should not relax the wisdom of mindfulness and appearance, When entering the Dharmadhatu, there is no one who is distracted and no object of distraction, After stability, the object of distraction is the establishment of the nature of reality, When Dharma is exhausted, it transcends the realm of expression. Please place us in such a state. Thus, mindfulness has great differences, and it is extremely rare to be able to understand this unique point. Therefore, what needs to be done now is to use mindfulness to stabilize mindfulness. This is fabricated mindfulness. Not yet integrating the deity appearance and the nature of reality, this is just the experience of stability seen now. Integrating the deity, appearance, and the nature of reality is the state of the Vipaka Vidyadhara, so it is difficult to arise in just a few months, so give up discouragement. However, when taking the path, in the state of clear and bright deity appearance, as long as mindfulness does not fall into forgetfulness, there is no need to practice according to the emptiness method. The clarifier of the deity appearance is itself the reality. The reason why it is easy to forget is because the power of insight is weak now.

Although it is so, sometimes it enhances the manifestation of the deity. When it is not clear, combine arrogance and memory (520). Sometimes focus on pure memory, etc., and strive to avoid fatigue. If it is difficult to be clear, manifest the memory on the painted image. Once its habit is firmly established, that clear body will not be forgotten, and before falling into the subconscious, that clear manifester itself is memory or mind, so there is no need to separately establish emptiness. In the end, the fruit of perfecting the two accumulations will naturally manifest as the illusory body. This is offered to the Supreme Iron Bridge Rinpoche. Good. Regarding how to practice. Training wisdom to be deep, clear, and stainless, dividing it into shamatha and vipassana is also conceptual meditation. In the Sutra section, dividing shamatha and vipassana into many types is because children have difficulty believing (521) in the stainless realm of reality. In order to guide them, setting non-duality wisdom as the Alaya Consciousness is merely to distinguish the various aspects of reality. Most of the reading, hearing, and thinking, in terms of essence, do not experience the way of abiding as in the lineage, but in terms of words, they make distinctions with conceptual thoughts, which is the wisdom that cannot be covered, and the way in which the wisdom of conceptual analysis contradicts what follows. In the Sutra of Repaying Kindness, it is widely said: Abiding in meaning, not abiding after words; abiding in wisdom, not abiding after consciousness. The true samadhi in which the six consciousnesses each abide in the realm of emptiness, unmixed with consciousness, is: the nature of reality is clear and without object, the essence is emptiness and not nihilistic, it is free from all clinging to what can be seen and what is seen (522), the nature is pure, not contaminated by habits and ordinary unrecorded defilements, and it is free from clinging to objects or the certainty of beliefs. This is the samadhi of the union of shamatha and vipassana. The profound point of the Mahayana Sutra section is: What is the wise, that is meditation; what is the cause of the exhaustion of outflows, that is wisdom; what is the mind that is free from all afflictions, that is meditation; what is the complete destruction of habits, that is wisdom. And so on. Other-emptiness mainly exists in the terminology of the Jonangpa school, and it is an intermediate practice
