The meaning is that the Omniscient One believes that all dharmas are pacified from elaboration and separated from all commitments, which also exists in the Sutra system. However, if one thinks that this present knowledge, without changing feathers or colors, can achieve Buddhahood, how could it be in the Paramita? Therefore, the two, method and wisdom, make the Secret Mantra particularly superior. As the teachings and verses of "The Three Kinds of Light" say, from the perspective of wisdom, the difference between the non-elaboration that is transformed by conceptual mind and the spontaneously accomplished non-elaboration that is not transformed by conceptual mind is like heaven and earth. Now, if the thought arises, "I should open the door," immediately maintaining the awareness of that moment, there will be no confusion or error (515). It is ignorance that wanders in samsara. If awareness is recognized, ignorance is naturally liberated. In the state of awareness, no matter what kind of conceptual thought arises, as long as one recognizes the awareness that thinks, "This time it will appear like this," without following the conceptual thought or speculating, not only will the conceptual thought naturally liberate, but also because the conceptual thought has not become a means of the path, the past conceptual thought is like drawing on a stone. Its habit becomes strong, leading to endless samsara. The conceptual thought that is grasped by awareness is like drawing on water. Disappearance and appearance occur simultaneously, so it will not become the basis of habit and samsara in the future. The general principle of awareness of the master Garab Dorje (516) also says: When it arises, it arises simultaneously, without good or bad; when it abides, it abides simultaneously, without good or bad; when it liberates, it liberates simultaneously, without good or bad. Like the self-emptiness and other-emptiness, emptiness annihilation, non-annihilation, union, co-emergent, possessing all supreme qualities, and other profound views and practices in other Dharma, the self-grasping with conceptual mind is adding the obstacle of knowledge to the inexpressible and inconceivable state. As it is said in the common Sutra Pitaka: "Bhagavan, if an Arhat thinks, 'I have attained Arhatship,' then he will be attached to self, attached to sentient beings, attached to life, and attached to person (517)."
