A new collection was made. The practitioners who live in the mountains, no matter what, attain Buddhahood through emptiness. As long as they hold such a sect, they must be well-versed in the scriptures of Sutra and Tantra, follow the teachings of the Buddha and the explanation of the Ratnagotravibhāga, as well as the Three Chariots and the Seven Treasures, and adorn themselves with many new scriptural citations, such as the "Treasury of Qualities." Newly composed were the "Commentary on Truth" and the "Two Chariots," creating a new path for this sect. Having mastered the names and realms in the Abhidharma Pitaka, abandoning the practice of meditating on the emptiness of arising and ceasing, enlightenment is attained through the power of wisdom from the Great Perfection, which is known as the ultimate Bodhicitta. The two types of conventional aspiration and action, in order to further enhance the precepts arising from the generation stage, generously gave away about two hundred cattle and sheep and countless small lives. Without using the offerings of faith for wrong livelihood, therefore, majesty was not achieved. (508) Temples housing the scriptures were built in the Padma Light Garden, a self-study monastery was established, the three supports of the Three Jewels were built from the wealth of empty silver ashes, offerings were made to the ancestral residence, and the perfection of generosity was studied through translating scriptures and other means. Starting from the operation of the three roots, winds, and essences, the vows of Vajrayana and the precepts of mantra were accepted. Gaining fearless confidence, even if slandered by fools, the liberation of patience is promoted without concealment. With the wheel of action and all engaging behaviors as companions, diligence is guided, therefore, there is no wandering in the Bardo. The elaboration of the generation stage and completion stage naturally disappears, and even if the mind is focused on meditation, the perfection of wisdom becomes the supreme Great Perfection. Therefore, if one is not skilled in dealing with the eight worldly dharmas such as gain and loss, then as the king's guru and close attendant, even in the face of obstacles of old age and disease, one must observe and protect Derge (Sichuan Derge County), and write a letter in response to the invitation.
