Directing aspiration prayers towards emptiness is said to be the arising of results from emptiness. If you don't understand this, it's better to claim to be a mantra practitioner and then eat meat and drink alcohol immoderately. What difference is there from crows and jackals? Similarly, even for those who merely indulge in alcohol as part of the Vajrayana vows, if they drink it like ignorant common people without blessing it with "Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, Literal Chinese meaning: Ha), Ho (Tibetan: ཧོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हो, Sanskrit Romanization: ho, Literal Chinese meaning: Ho), Hri (Tibetan: ཧྲཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hri)," it is said that both the vows and the accomplishments will be lost. The Vinaya source states: "If one with vows drinks without the three 'Ha' and so on, it undoubtedly turns into poison, and the accomplishments of mantra will not arise." Whether much or little, do not drink more than what fills a 'za tod' (a type of cup). If one drinks more than that and becomes intoxicated, one will be born in the hell called 'Dua bo'. The tantra states: "Whoever becomes intoxicated with alcohol, many obstacles will arise for them. A mantra practitioner who becomes intoxicated with alcohol will be thrown into the place of Dua bo." So, one might wonder, didn't masters like Padmasambhava and accomplished beings like Virupa consume five hundred 'khal' of alcohol at once? It's said that they didn't even feel satisfied or boastful from five hundred 'khal' of alcohol, and there's a story of them pressing the sun down because they couldn't afford to pay the bill. Likewise, you treat poison with raw food, imprison the sun and moon, exchange mountains with each other, and fly in the sky, generally benefiting the teachings, especially benefiting the Vajrayana, and being able to transform faith and wrong views—that would be great, thank you very much. If it's not like that, but in an instant, consciousness becomes confused, like a madman with life-force entering the wind, saying whatever comes to mind and doing whatever comes to mind, if that is a sign of accomplishment, then it's very strange. As the scripture says: "In the time when the five degenerations are rampant, the reasons for being able to use the substances of secret mantra, meat and alcohol, are stated, but without the warmth of meditative experience, everything is applied to flesh, blood, and alcohol. This also has no vows, and those who act according to Dharma are reproached with skillful means. Such people will appear at the end of the teachings. Alas, alas, there is no place to go other than hell, how pitiful!" Therefore, one must definitely ascertain what to accept and reject, not waste the body that is the basis for achieving enlightenment, and not use the gathering wheel of Vajrayana vows as an offering to the mandala of the body for the sake of increasing gluttony and splendor, and so on.

Furthermore, being in the state of the three mandalas, regarding food and drink as real substances, from the beginning it is a grand () feast gathering wheel. Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and Ha (藏文:ཧ,梵文天城体:ह,梵文罗马拟音:ha,汉语字面意思:哈), Ho (藏文:ཧོ,梵文天城体:हो,梵文罗马拟音:ho,汉语字面意思:呵), Hrih (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍), transform into uncontaminated great bliss nectar. My body, aggregates, elements, and sense bases are the nature of the three places being complete, are the deities of the sacred and wonderful hundred-family mandala, all movements are great bliss, are the supreme vajra vows, in the great cloud of bodhicitta, enjoy in the state of non-duality and equality. After the gathering of the yoga path is complete, it will not become an obstacle to food, and may the impermanent benefactor also enjoy the fruits of the Great Vehicle. Having said this, one must ascertain the pure recollection of the vajra body as follows: the soles of the feet are wind, the triple junction is fire, the abdomen is water, the heart is earth, the spine is Mount Sumeru, the head is the top of Mount Sumeru, the mandala of the body is a square without inequality, the eight feet are eight pillars, the eyes are the five Buddhas, the nose is the father tantra, the teeth are net-like and half-net-like, the tongue and lips are desire, the ears are the landing place of a horse, the four wind channels in the heart are four doors, consciousness is Heruka, the eight consciousnesses are the eight Gauri goddesses, the eight objects are the eight Brahmani goddesses (), the four extremes of permanence and annihilation are the four door goddesses, the twenty-eight vertebrae are the twenty-eight Ishvaras, the ten non-virtues are the ten Krodha, the ten virtues are the ten Krodheshvari, the eighteen pores are the eighteen great Ging, the three hundred and sixty bones are the three hundred and sixty messengers, the seven sense doors are the seven mother goddesses, the twelve joints are the twelve Tenma goddesses. In short, the mandala of the body's channels, the mandala of the channel letters, the mandala of the element nectar, the mandala of the wind wisdom, the mandala of the awareness bodhicitta, are the nature of the five mandalas, and are naturally spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. Knowing that the five fingers of the hand are the five desire goddesses, therefore the food and drink are in accordance with the vows of the four empowerments, or if one is a path of means, then visualize it as bliss-emptiness nectar, if one is a path of liberation, then visualize it as uncontaminated nectar, and enjoy it in the manner of offering, without being distracted for even a moment, and for the taste, do not have the discrimination of bitterness and sweetness (), and know it to be emptiness, luminosity, and all-pervading. This kind of reasoning should be applied to all food and drink. However, if one does not have the fortune to understand this much, or even if one does, it should be in accordance with the holder of the Tripitaka.
