In the "Luminous Continuum: Lion's Perfected Power," it says: Without cultivating wisdom, spontaneous accomplishment arises. By cultivating, I am no longer myself. Self-born, originally without effort. By observing, I do not see myself. The Dharmakaya is originally without boundaries. By viewing, I do not see myself. In particular, distinguishing between the transparency of self-aware primordial wisdom and the illusory forms of mind-based ignorance, maintaining liberation without remainder in the vast expanse of wisdom, the habitual patterns of mental fluctuations are directly purified, explaining transcendence beyond straying. However, it is difficult to realize this as it is, except for a few individuals with extremely sharp faculties. Here, the essence of what is specifically spoken is that there is no increase or decrease, no good or bad, and nothing to be obtained in the essence. However, merely the conceptualizations of power differentiate between samsara and nirvana and deceive practitioners. Therefore, its nature must be explained in detail. That is, if it is done according to the gradual process, the followers of Paṇchen Vimalamitra believe that there are three ways of liberation for conceptualizations. Like this, liberating by recognizing conceptualizations is like meeting someone you knew before. Conceptualizations liberating themselves is like a snake's knot unraveling. Conceptualizations liberating into the Dharmakaya without benefit or harm is like a thief in an empty house. The first of the three different metaphors used to explain is: When awareness abides in a state of clear emptiness, conceptualizations suddenly arise, which is awareness, similar to the gods of the formless realm. The corresponding samadhi is the cessation of the continuum of the aggregates of formation and consciousness, space is infinite. When deep sleep occurs, sensation ceases. There is nothing. Śe (识,vijñāna,识,consciousness) in awareness, clear appearance ceases in awareness, is consciousness infinite. A slight pleasure and light also appear, realizing that there is nothing, neither existent nor non-existent, is the vastness of self-nature. The profound meaning of the all-knowing great one is distinguished by vast clouds. The first exists from the time of its arising, and there are two within it: the conceptualization to be observed and the memory of the observer. Therefore, dualistic grasping is the root of samsara, the source of suffering, and an obstacle on the path. Therefore, recognize it when it abides, recognize it when it changes. When this becomes the state of realization, it is a very dangerous wrong path. So, some of the previous scholars and accomplished ones have said this in response to questions, what is the matter? That is for the person who is a beginner.

Therefore, it should be known that in the context of guiding conduct by showing mindfulness as the basis of meditation, it is not the occasion to simultaneously and literally explain the path of Dzogchen. If you don't think so, then in the commentary on the omniscient great scholar's instruction manual, the Wish-Fulfilling Treasure, the White Lotus, it says: "Some meditators nowadays think that the current awareness, downward movement, and three strands are free from elaboration. Whatever arises, whatever changes, it is enough to recognize it in the mind, and counting the number of births and deaths is also far from the meaning of reality." Having said that, you are someone who has no Dharma connection! Secondly, if you can cultivate it without attachment, from the grasping of the object to be seen and the seer, with single-pointed samadhi, without having to look, the thoughts themselves recognize themselves and are self-liberated, like a snake's knot naturally untying, this is a metaphor. If we speak in terms of Dharma language, this is the subsequent attainment of being grasped by skillful means. Although other vehicles consider this to be contrived, Dzogchen considers the sharp consciousness of the knower to be confusion and obscuration, and believes that there is a subtle dualistic obscuration of knowledge. Therefore, if a yogi who recognizes even when abiding and understands even when changing, whose realization has merged into the expanse, is analyzed, there is still an extremely subtle discrimination, and this is also the view of the ultimate vehicle yogi. For this special tenet, some people close their eyes of hearing and thinking, and think that the view of self-nature Dzogchen, relying only on devotion and smooth practice in secluded places such as caves and beds, can comprehend the secret treasure of Longchenpa's view, which is a misunderstanding. And some speculators say: "If even the thought of the knower is gone, then it is the same as the dark stone of Heshang." The answer is that Heshang does not have the key to distinguishing between the object-oriented mind and the subject-oriented awareness, and the knowledge that is not clearly distinguished in the context of mind and awareness is in an unpredicted state, and all things touched by mindfulness cease, like fainting or falling into one-sided ignorance like deep sleep. You think that Heshang's view has such a mistake, I don't think anything.
