It is certain that it is caused by a sudden red event. Nowadays, the teachings of Dzogchen are declining, and many people only trust this introduction. Therefore, in order to directly point out the path here, as it says in the Root Self-Arisen Tantra: When the lion roars its own sound, all the beasts faint and are afraid. When Dzogchen speaks its own language, all the lesser vehicles faint. (976) Like this, for those who are not destined to think of cause and effect as the ultimate meaning, and for those who hope to attain Dzogchen through speculation, even if they are blamed and belittled, the omniscient one considers appearance to be mind, which is a great darkness of wrong views, so it must be eliminated. Because of this teaching, it is explained in detail and the obstacles on the path are cleared away. Secondly, in a non-common way, like a blind person opening half an eye, the introduction is given in a direct and approaching manner: Let the disciple Migyur Dorje maintain his sitting posture, and with the sound of the drum, recite the end of the lineage prayer with the melody of transforming appearances. Say: Alas! For your present awareness, do not make any adjustments or contractions, but rest directly. There, there is no existence or non-existence, nor any parts. Do not distinguish the subtle differences between appearance and emptiness. There are no characteristics of permanence or annihilation. In this unestablished state, there is no need to strive through contemplation, nor is it like untying a knot (977), it is primordial liberation. Self-illumination that has not been transformed by the mind. Wisdom that has not been fabricated by conceptual thought. Dharmata that has not been contaminated by contemplation. Samadhi that cannot be established. Post-attainment that cannot be calculated. Luminosity without essence. Vastness without falling into extremes. Like this, this state of mind that is originally present and naturally abiding, even though it has never been separated from all sentient beings for a moment, but because it is not recognized, just as water that could flow freely is frozen by ice, the action of the internally grasping mind is the cause, and the action of the externally grasping object is the condition, wandering endlessly in samsara. Now, through the guru's pith instructions, starting from the momentary incomplete state of awareness, do not transform or adjust it on the level of reality, do not deviate from here, nor meditate on anything here, but rest, which is the complete revelation of the heart essence of the mind of the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra (978). As it says in the Six Spaces Tantra: In the mind-essence without permanence or annihilation, the appearances that are free from good and bad are, the state of mind that is free from acceptance and rejection!

I, Samantabhadra, have shown that in the mind-essence devoid of acceptance and rejection, the unobstructed self-liberation appearance is called the vast intention. I, Samantabhadra, have shown that in the mind-essence devoid of sinking and excitement, the intention of great equanimity is called the intention of the six aggregates being relaxed. I, Samantabhadra, have shown that in the mind-essence devoid of fear, the appearance free from hope and fear is called the intention of confident self-settling. Thus. From the Heap of Jewels: This Dharma-nature without a foundation, not sought, but abiding, is most wonderful. The awareness that goes and comes, without end, is most wonderful. The primordial great wisdom, without an antidote, is most wonderful. Thus. From the All-Creating King: The Buddhas of the past (979), did not seek Dharma outside their own minds. They never partook of what is, as it is. They never meditated on conceptual samadhi. It is accomplished by the non-conceptual nature of one's own mind. Those who dwell now and those who will come in the future, will also be accomplished by non-conceptual equality. Thus, according to this vehicle, the nature of mind is primordially self-liberated, and recognizing that is called awareness, continuing this stream, because of its forceful nature, enlightenment is faster than other paths, thus generating joy. Incidentally, dispelling doubts and liberating obstacles: Thus abiding, when continuing the stream of the great self-abiding nature, if one thinks that the nature of that awareness is empty, then the one who clings to emptiness is the mind. The mind has a support. The reason why one does not attain Buddhahood (980) with meditation that has a support. From the Lion's Complete Strength: By meditating on meditation, one does not see the meaning of Dharma-nature. Self-appearing samadhi is free from the side of thought. Dharma-nature free from elaboration is equal to the edge of the sky. There is no grasping or conceptualization of the objects of focus. The Buddha free from the four extremes is self-knowing. The Dharmakaya transcends the extremes of existence and non-existence. Thus, emptiness is said to be the antidote to the great liberation that obstructs clinging to it. Furthermore, if one assumes confidence in the state of abiding in the nature that transcends the extremes of existence and non-existence, then that is a formidable obscuration of one's own ground bound by certainty. From the Great Garuda: Whatever effort is made without limit, bird
