Since it is not like that, one believes that one will not attain Buddhahood through performed Dharma. Since there is nowhere to go (968), it is determined that the realm of appearances is made by the mind. Since there is no goer, one gains confidence in the absence of inherent existence of the object. At that time, awareness and emptiness, without coming or going, are established as the manifestation body. In this way, the three, the place of arising, the place of abiding, and the place of going, are within the uncommon category, and also possess the key instruction for the collapse of the house of the mind, so it is a particularly excellent quick path. In this way, by performing the preliminary practices of the mind, the common result is that the defilements of the mind are purified, obstacles are pacified, and manifest clinging is reversed. In particular, the distinction between samsara and nirvana is distinguished, and the nature of the mind is liberated into awareness and emptiness wisdom. Ultimately, it enables the mind vajra, which is inseparable from all Buddhas, to reach the ground of primordial basis. The second has two parts: settling into the natural state and restoring to its original position. The first is: In the Thorough Transformation, it says: At this time, the key points of body, speech, and mind, the one with yoga should settle into the natural state. Thus (969), in order to settle those special preliminary practices, whose elements and occurrences have become confused, into the natural, uncorrected nature. The key point of the body transcends acceptance and rejection of good and bad, and is placed comfortably like a corpse in a charnel ground. Speech is separated from the nature of speaking, and even the coming and going of breath is practiced slowly. The mind is liberated from thoughts, concepts, and distractions, and is placed like a clear sky. Because one possesses yoga without action or agent, settling into the natural state should be done for twenty-one days, or seven days, or three days, etc. The necessity is, in the Clear Expanse, it says: In this way, whoever settles into the natural state, the diseases and calamities of confused elements are pacified, and clinging is naturally liberated. Thus. The second is restoring to its original position, after the past, it says: The Hearer, Bodhisattva, and Wrathful One, can also restore to their original position with their respective postures. Therefore (970), after the three have restored to their original position, they will diligently engage in practice itself. Thus, the first is the posture of the Hearer, possessing the seven-point posture of Vairochana, and placing the arising of sensory perceptions without fabrication or correction. The second is the posture of the Bodhisattva, placing the eyes at the height of a neck-yoke, without reliance. The third is the posture of the Wrathful One, spreading the legs in a giant's stride. The eyes move fiercely, gazing into space. The mouth emits the laughter of the Wrathful One, "Ha ha."
