Wandering in attachment, confused in samsara, relying on the profound and swift path of Vajrayana, binding the activity of the winds of coming and going (840), not relying on the contemplation inferred by reason in the net of conceptualization for a long time like the lower vehicles, but forcefully recognizing the innate wisdom, this is the instruction. It has three parts. First, with oneself in a state of possessing the seven dharmas of contemplation, in the middle of the abdomen, like an empty thatched hut, the central channel straight like a supple branch of a water tree, thin like a lotus petal, blue like a cloudless sky, clear like a sesame oil lamp, that is, meditating with the four qualities, at the upper end of the crown of the head, a white ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), at the lower end below the navel, a red ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) clearly, from the self-nature of possessing the four unions, suppressing the upper wind, lifting the lower wind, from the ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) at the navel, fire blazes, gradually the ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) at the upper end melts, from which a stream of nectar descends, pervading the four chakras and all the veins, the wisdom of bliss and emptiness arises, (841) and in the heart, holding one white ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) letter, with one-pointedness, abiding like a cut arrow. By the means of creating bliss, the wisdom of emptiness arises. Until one is familiar, one should practice many times in a short time. Second, training the mind in clarity and emptiness without conceptualization. By exhaling three or nine times, there is the intention of expelling the poisonous air arising from the elements. Then, when inhaling, all the coarse appearances like dust melt into light, gradually dissolving, merging with the clear blue sky. That is, visualizing that everything arising within one's own body is filled with blue, and forcefully pressing the air down. Slightly lifting the lower wind, closing the mouth, in the manner of quenching thirst, the experience of clarity and emptiness arises. Also, if the coldness is strong, then visualize that air as hot, if the heat is strong, then visualize that there is a cool touch, this is the key point. (842) Thus spoke the glorious Samyepa. If those who like elaboration wish to meditate on the individual elements, then they should practice as in the "Son Letter Wisdom Clear Lamp." However, in the "Essential Instructions for Mind Training of the Lama Yangtig," it is said, "The wind of the sky is auspicious at all times, and the touch is also gathered in those two, so this is enough for practice." Thus it is said. Such a vase
