In the forest, with the sharp sword of Nirvana, cut down the trees on the path of grasping and clinging. The carpenter with confidence in the oral instructions, makes a hand drum with the back-to-back of samsara and nirvana. Covered with the leather of dualistic obscuration, tied with the belt of the union of appearance and emptiness. Possessing the staff of skillful means and wisdom, adorned with the feast of the Dakinis' delight. Adorned with the five wisdoms, using living mothers as servants, and gathering dead Dakinis as retinues. The tiger and leopard skin that suppresses appearances, with the tinkling sound of the bells of the powerful mother assembly. These are the implements of the Dakas and Dakinis, seeing them stops the conceptual thoughts of existence, shaking them controls the appearances of others, holding them brings the mother assembly and Dakinis close. Drawing from the life force of the gods and demons of appearance and existence, with the self-sound of sound and emptiness inseparable, causing all that is stable and moving to tremble and shake. This is the Prajnaparamita. Thus, this is a brief description of the nature of the implements used in Chöd. At the request of Drukpa Ngawang Dorje, slightly taking from the nose ornament of Karshapani, Longchen Namkhai Naljor made this slight elaboration. OM. From the Longchen Nyingtik, the Great Perfection Samantabhadra Jnana Dhatu Tantra, as well as the later Great Perfection Tantra, the Intent Practice of Samantabhadra, and the Three Keys of Great Perfection with their distinctions, are present. (648) OM. In Sanskrit: Maha Sandhi Samantabhadra Jnana Dhatu Tantra Nama In Tibetan: It is called the Great Perfection Samantabhadra Jnana Dhatu Tantra. Homage to the Bhagavan Sugata Essence. In the realm of the unerring nature of reality, in the pure Akanishta realm of self-appearance, Samantabhadra, the awareness that has been enlightened from the beginning. The Bhagavan, the King of Form, the King of Feeling, the King of Perception, the King of Formation, the King of Consciousness, the five great elements such as earth, water, fire, wind, and space, and the assembly of heroes and heroines of the senses, objects, and time, and (649) OM. The sole means. At that time, the great Bodhisattva named Conceptual Vajra arose from his seat and asked: From the difference between the Alaya and the Great Wisdom, how do the dharmas of samsara and nirvana become different?

You, who demonstrate passing away, repeatedly instruct that if one is to distinguish the characteristics of this and that, what are the basis and essence of what is called mind and mind-nature? Instruction: The ālaya is the great basis of all saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, like when the senses are not awake and are in a state of sleep, or like during the five states of mindlessness (650), the nature of the support and supported of mind and mind-nature exists in the form of latent tendencies. In the following, this is shown to be the nature of the tathāgatagarbha, in order to temporarily guide children who doubt the stainless dharmadhātu. Therefore, in this, the pure wisdom gate, the path of nirvāṇa, the appearance of the great bindu, like the ocean of the Dharma of the fruit, and the impure gate of saṃsāra, the afflictions and the countless aggregates of conceptual thought, exist in an invisible, latent form, so it is neither sentient being, nor Buddha, nor the wisdom of the path, nor mind-nature, but the container of all, becoming a blueprint, hence it is called ālaya. (651) If divided, there are four types: the original basis ālaya, the combining meaning ālaya, the habitual body ālaya, and the habitual mixed ālaya. If one summarizes their essence: the ālaya realm is like an egg that does not think anything. The blueprint that stands as a container for various abilities is the ālaya-vijñāna itself. From this, the coarse wind that is closely associated with the three: good, non-good, attachment, aversion, and neutrality, is the characteristic of mind. Thus, the karma of the six senses awakening from objects is the grasping mind. Accompanied by the afflicted mind and self-grasping, the five root afflictions, twenty secondary afflictions, fifty mental factors, and eighty-four thousand conceptual thoughts arise and cease, leading to the complete fulfillment of all dependent origination of the three realms (652) without exception. Alas! The vajra of conceptual thought, the wisdom of awareness, from the perspective of the continuity of the ālaya realm, although not contradictory in essence, is called the transformation of essence, like awakening from sleep. Thus, although the senses awaken from objects, they are not tainted by the appearance of objects, but are co-emergent and imputational ignorance.
