A good physical basis but with a greedy mind, it cannot be a basis for accomplishing liberation; especially being possessed by demons and the five poisons raging, bad karma striking like lightning, and being lazy and distracted; or being enslaved by others, servants, treating fear and protection as Dharma; the eight kinds of leisurelessness caused by ignorance and other sudden factors, when they become obstacles to Dharma for me, please turn your mind to Dharma, Guru knows! Do not let the wrong path lead to inferiority, Omniscient One! Non-dual, kind teacher knows! Little sorrow (page 155) and lacking energetic wealth, bound by the ropes of desire and greed, with rough behavior, not fearing unwholesome sins, acting extremely perversely, vows broken, commitments torn, the eight kinds of leisurelessness with prejudiced minds, when they become obstacles to Dharma for me, please turn your mind to Dharma, Guru knows! Do not let the wrong path lead to inferiority, Omniscient One! Non-dual, kind teacher knows! Now not being tormented by illness and suffering, not being dominated by others such as slaves, at this time when the interdependence of obtaining freedom is complete, if you waste leisure and endowment in laziness, relatives and enjoyments are like friendships, looking at this body that is held as "take a look", it will also be sent from the bed to an empty place, when foxes, vultures, and dogs tear it apart, the fear in the bardo realm is extremely great, please turn your mind to Dharma, Guru knows! Do not let the wrong path lead to inferiority, Omniscient One! Non-dual, kind teacher knows! (page 156) The ripening of good and bad karma follows like a shadow, especially if you fall into the hell realm, on the red-hot ground, cut off the head and body with swords, saw off the wings with saws, strike with hammers, and burn with blazing flames, howling in a doorless iron house, pierced by burning sparks, boiled in boiling water, burned by omnipresent flames, these are the eight hot hells as a group. At the foot of thick snow mountains and in icy rivers, in dangerous and terrifying canyons, blizzards rage, and the cold, biting wind blows against the body, causing blisters, especially bursting open, constant wailing, the suffering felt is unbearable, like an exhausted, dying patient, letting out long sighs, teeth falling out, skin cracking, making "shush shush" sounds, cracking even more, there are eight kinds. Similarly, there are also hairs of

My legs are cut off, In the jungle of swords, the body is cut and chopped, The corpse rots and sinks into the mud, pervaded by endless ashes. The vicinity of suffering (157) is full of changes, Doors and pillars, stoves and ropes, etc., Things that are always used and enjoyed for a short time, What is the cause from which the eighteen categories arise? When the motivation of strong hatred arises, Please turn your mind to Dharma, Guru know! Please do not lead me astray, Omniscient One! Inseparable, kind Lama know! Likewise, a place where the poor are unhappy, Where food, drink, and enjoyment are not even mentioned by name, A preta body that cannot find food or drink for years, Thin and weak in the strength to rise, in three forms. The cause from which it arises is stinginess. The great fear of devouring and killing each other, Exhausted by use and enjoyment, confused about what to take and leave, I, whose seed is ignorance, wandering in darkness, Who am tormented by boundless suffering. Please turn your mind to Dharma, Guru know! Please do not lead me astray, Omniscient One! Inseparable, kind Lama know! Even if one enters the path of Dharma, one does not restrain misconduct, (158) Entering the gate of the Mahayana but being far from the mind of benefiting others, Even if one receives the four empowerments, one does not meditate on the generation and completion stages, I pray that the Lama will liberate me from this wrong path! Having a view that understands a little bit of the surface, doer of actions, Meditating distractedly but arguing about the field of understanding, Making mistakes in behavior but not reflecting on one's own faults, I pray that the Lama will liberate me from this Dharma pretender! Even if one is going to die tomorrow, one is attached to dwelling, clothes, and wealth, Even if one's youth has passed, one lacks renunciation and sorrow, Even if one has little learning, one boasts of being virtuous, I pray that the Lama will liberate me from this ignorance! Even if one is facing death, one thinks of gatherings and pilgrimages, Even if one relies on solitude, one's mindstream is as stiff as wood, Even if one speaks gently, one's attachment and hatred are not extinguished, I pray that the Lama will liberate me from these eight worldly concerns! May I quickly awaken from this deep sleep! May I quickly be released from this dark prison! Thus, calling out fiercely, may compassion descend! Third, the root of the Great Vehicle path, at the beginning of taking the Bodhisattva vows, accumulating merit: (159) For any sentient being without exception, Who is both protector and friend, and enemy of the hordes of demons, Knowing and seeing as it is, as many as there are, I pray that the Bhagavan will pacify my sins!
