On the nine Sme-ba lands, erect a long arrow adorned with five-colored silk, pure and unblemished, untouched by Kashmir (Kha-cher), and attach a soul turquoise. Inside the hollow of the arrow, place the symbols representing the eight consciousness aggregates: A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), Ka (Tibetan: ཀ, Devanagari: क, Romanized Sanskrit: ka, Literal Chinese meaning: Ga), Tsa (Tibetan: ཙ, Devanagari: च, Romanized Sanskrit: ca, Literal Chinese meaning: Za), Ta (Tibetan: ཊ, Devanagari: ट, Romanized Sanskrit: ṭa, Literal Chinese meaning: Zha), Pa (Tibetan: པ, Devanagari: प, Romanized Sanskrit: pa, Literal Chinese meaning: Ba), Ya (Tibetan: ཡ, Devanagari: य, Romanized Sanskrit: ya, Literal Chinese meaning: Ya), Sha (Tibetan: ཤ, Devanagari: श, Romanized Sanskrit: śa, Literal Chinese meaning: Xia), Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal Chinese meaning: She). On the spar-kha, place eight wrathful ransom offerings. In the center of each of the four continents, offer bathing water and daily necessities to the Four Great Kings. To the eight classes of spirits in the eight directions, offer thumb-sized round tormas that match the color of the direction, along with as much chang (barley beer) as possible. Offer a wrathful ransom offering to each direction, along with a nam-gyang, an arrow, a complete wooden drawing (page 620), as well as milk essence, chang, water essence, and meat and alcohol as food. Also arrange tsampa and various fruits. Comfortably arrange eight heaps of grain on a white felt, and on top of that, place a container filled with clean earth. If earth is unavailable, fill it with various types of water, and place a butter-made soul sheep inside. If performing a life-linking ritual, for the purpose of divination, write Nri (Tibetan: ནྀྲ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) in the center of a square piece of paper, and around it write "May the life force of so-and-so increase," then place white rice grains equal to the number of years to be performed in the hole, and insert it into the belly of the soul sheep. On a large ransom offering, prepare all the ransom materials, and around it, arrange eight small ransom items for replenishment, one hundred chang, and one hundred pills. The second part is: When performing the activity ritual of the dakinis and reciting (page 621), in the heart of the dakini, on a lotus moon disc, visualize a radiant white body. The body, speech, and mind are Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). The two legs are in a horse-riding posture in a cross-legged position. The right hand grants the supreme gift, and the left hand grants refuge in the name of the Three Jewels, holding an utpala flower with a golden fish on it. Light radiates from the three syllables, and the spirits, zombies, and yakshas who have stolen the patient's life and lifespan, visualize them returning it as if forced. Om Padmo Yogini Tare Tuttare Ture Mari Tsi Tse Bhrum Nri Dza Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་པདྨོ་ཡོ་གི་ནི་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་མ་རི་ཙྱི་ཚེ་བྷྲཱུཾ་ནྀྲ་ཛསྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ padmo yogini tāre tuttāre ture mari ci tse bhrūṃ hri ja svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Lotus, Yogini, Tara, Swift Tara, Very Swift Tara, Light, Life, Hum, Hrih, Born, Svaha). After reciting this mantra with visualization points as much as possible, bless the tormas with the six-syllable mantra and the six mudras, and then chant: Alas! The Buddha is the chief of the two-legged, the supreme truth. The undefiled holy Dharma (page 622) is the supreme truth. The Sangha, liberated from lineage, is the supreme truth. There is nothing that does not obey the command of truth. There is no weariness in the life of death.
