Darker than darkness, I praise you, the lamp of self-grasping. Just seeing your body transforms appearance. Even from the remains of peaceful sleep, it is said, "Liberation without interval." I prostrate to the great one whose every connection is meaningful. Hearing your speech, one knows what to accept and reject, and is saved from the abyss of great misdeeds. The path of cessation is the very nature of bliss and truth. From the Great Ornament of Hearing and Liberation, it is said: Manjushri, where is the one who speaks the Dharma? Even seeing my bones or a decaying corpse will transform the five deeds without interval. Thus it is said. I praise the melodious sound of "Po." Though I strive (134), I cannot be liberated, but by entrusting to your mind, it ripens in an instant. If devotion is obtained, realization will arise. I prostrate to the one beyond elaboration, inconceivable. Though one cuts off the senses with the suffering of countless three immeasurable eons, the Vajra Mind, difficult to obtain, I prostrate to the one who shows it unmistakenly and manifestly. Lama, Buddha, Precious One, I have no other place of hope. Please look with the eye of compassion, and liberate me from the ocean of samsara. May all good things be accomplished in this life, without obstacles or hindrances, and at the time of death, may I seize the profound clear light. Please liberate me from the dangerous straits of the bardo. May all actions of body, speech, and mind always benefit others, and may all circumstances be transformed into the supreme path of enlightenment from this very day. Though I strive, it is difficult to be liberated. O Protector, by the boat of your compassion, may I, the helpless one, and all beings, go to the island of liberation. Whoever has faith in me, whether they slander or accuse me, may they exhaust their sins, eliminate their afflictions, and abandon the river of existence. Whenever just by my name, the desires of beings are completely fulfilled, and in all the fields that fill the ten directions, may a rain of clouds of offerings fall. By this virtue, may all sentient beings be completely liberated from existence, attain the two supreme wisdoms, and may the two benefits be spontaneously accomplished. From the center of the crown, placing the pistil of faith, the one refuge, the kind root lama, arises. In order to protect me, who am tormented by karma and fierce afflictions, and who has a bad destiny, he abides as the ornament of the great bliss wheel on the crown of my head. I pray that mindfulness and awareness may all arise. Now, hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, long-lived gods, and...

With the view of a barbarian, without the (135) coming of a Buddha, and being mute. Having obtained leisure, freed from the eight unfree states. Having become a human, with complete faculties, born in the central land. Not engaging in wrong livelihood, having faith in the teachings, Having the five endowments complete in oneself, a Buddha has come. The Dharma is spoken, the teachings abide and enter into this. Being held by a holy spiritual friend, and the other five endowments. Even having obtained the state of all complete in oneself, Having abandoned this life with many conditions and no certainty, One will go to the next world. Turn your mind to the Dharma, Guru (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Chinese literal meaning: teacher) knows! Do not let the path deviate and become inferior, Omniscient One! Non-dual, kind Lama (Tibetan: བླ་མ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Chinese literal meaning: teacher) knows! If this time the leisure and endowment are not made meaningful, Later it will be difficult to find the basis for accomplishing liberation. In the body of a happy realm, after merit is exhausted, After death, one will wander in the lower realms and bad migrations. Not knowing good and evil, not hearing the sound of Dharma, Not meeting a virtuous friend, it is truly pitiful. Just thinking about the number and order of sentient beings, Obtaining a human body is like a star in the daytime. Even among humans, seeing those without Dharma engaging in evil, Those who practice according to Dharma are like a star in the daytime. Turn your mind to the Dharma, Guru (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Chinese literal meaning: teacher) knows! Do not let the path deviate and become inferior, Omniscient Lord! Non-dual, kind Lama (Tibetan: བླ་མ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Chinese literal meaning: teacher) knows! Even if one has gone to the precious island of a human body, The body is a good basis, but with a coarse mind, It is not suitable as a basis for accomplishing liberation, Especially being possessed by demons and the five poisons are confused, Bad karma falls on top and being distracted by laziness, Being enslaved by others, like a servant, treating fear of protection as Dharma. Ignorance and other separating conditions cause the eight unfree states. When obstacles to the Dharma arise in oneself, Turn your mind away from the Dharma, Guru (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Chinese literal meaning: teacher) knows! Do not let the path deviate and become inferior, Omniscient Lord! Non-dual, kind Lama (Tibetan: བླ་མ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Chinese literal meaning: teacher) knows! (136) Depression is heavy, separated from the help of faith, Bound by the net of desire and existence, and behavior is coarse, Not fearing non-virtuous sins, wrong livelihood, The vows are decayed, the samaya is broken, With a biased mind, the eight kinds of unfree states arise. Obstacles to the Dharma arise in oneself. Mind. Path deviates. Non-dual. Now not being tormented by illness and suffering, Not being enslaved or controlled by others, At this time when the interdependent conditions of obtaining freedom are complete, If one indulges in laziness and worldly affairs, Like relatives, enjoyments, and close friends.
