Here, in the future, those children who rely on names, words, and letters, in all the tantras, with "Thus have I heard," etc., whatever is said by the Tathagata as definitely indicating the abode of the Buddha, that is not what the Tathagata said. Why? Because the Buddha who teaches the Dharma relies on meaning, and also the compilers correctly explain it in various languages of different places. Here, if it is said that the words well-expressed, such as "Thus have I heard," etc., are produced through the efforts of the throat and palate, then the Tathagata teaches the Dharma, and in this way, the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma are also taught by the Tathagata at many times, and the compilers cannot write them down, because it is not just one word that is well-expressed. Here, because the emanated bodies are limitless and boundless, in the limitless and boundless realms of the world, the voices of limitless and boundless beings (739) simultaneously teaching the Dharma will not exist. Because there is no one who teaches the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma, it will become non-omniscient, but it is not so. Here, because the Tathagata said that the Buddhas are immeasurable, the Dharma is immeasurable, and the Sangha is immeasurable, therefore, the omniscient teacher of the Dharma is not one. The language of the omniscient, which can understand all the languages of all beings, is not one. The definitely indicated abode is not one. The Shravaka Sangha of the Tathagata and the petitioners are not one. Here, due to the various inclinations of beings, there are many omniscients, many languages of the omniscient, many abodes, and many Dharma teachings. Therefore, the Tathagata does not teach all the tantras only with the language of the gods produced by the efforts of the throat and palate, etc. Thus it is said. Also, in that same place, it is said that the Bhagavan is a limitless and boundless teacher of the Dharma, therefore, in all the kings of tantras, such as "Thus have I heard," etc., the definitely indicated abode

It should not be said that "the teaching" is what the Buddhas speak. If it is thought that only this impure Sanskrit, which does not possess the nature of knowing all the languages of all sentient beings, can represent the Buddha, then the Buddha also becomes impure. In India, when seeing those arrogant heretics who are proficient in Sanskrit, (they say,) "Just as Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, etc., who are worshiped by Brahmins, Vishnu, Shiva, etc., are speakers of Sanskrit, so also the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas whom we worship are speakers of Sanskrit." This is the thought of Buddhists with simple minds. Because the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not use this impure Sanskrit, but use the languages of all sentient beings to proclaim and realize the Dharma. Therefore, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not have a necessary connection with the birth of gods, because they proclaim the Dharma in the languages of various sentient beings. Furthermore, it is also said in that scripture: "To think that only pure Sanskrit can bring heavenly bliss is the thought of those who are conquered by the arrogance of wrong views, because they do not have the ability to know all languages." Here, the imperfect teachings proclaimed by Vishnu and Shiva, etc., which lack compassion for all sentient beings, only bring the suffering of samsara, breed wrong views and arrogance, and foster the conceit of racism, should not be approved by Buddhists. If measured according to phonetics, vocabulary, and letters, then they should be regarded as essence, supreme, and sacred, and rejoiced in and praised, because they are consistent with these (phonetics, vocabulary, and letters). Furthermore, it is also said in that scripture: "Leaving aside the differences of other places for the moment, the Tathagata attained perfect enlightenment in India, and after the Blessed One passed into nirvana, the compilers wrote the three vehicles of teachings on scrolls, the Tathagata
