Offering, prostrating, and confessing, rejoicing, exhorting, and praying. Whatever small merit I have accumulated, I dedicate it all to the perfect great Bodhi. Taking the Bodhisattva vows: I take refuge in the Three Jewels, I confess all sins and non-virtues individually, I rejoice in the virtues of beings, I hold the Buddha's Bodhi in mind. (Recite three times) Then, the preliminary for taking the vows: Just as the Arhats of the past, for the benefit of sentient beings, and for the perfection of the Dharma of Bodhi, practiced Uposatha, so too, I, named so-and-so, from this time until sunrise tomorrow, will take the Uposatha. (Recite three times) Declaring the essence of the vows: From today onwards, I will not kill, not lie, not engage in sexual activity, not steal, I will abandon alcohol, the source of faults, I will forsake high beds, and untimely food, I will abandon perfume, garlands, song, and dance, relying on the eight-limbed vows, may I attain liberation. (Recite three times) Then, visualize the eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara on your crown: A body unblemished, with a white complexion, crowned by the perfect Buddha, gazing upon beings with eyes of compassion, I prostrate to Avalokiteśvara. The thousand hands are a thousand Chakravartin kings, the thousand eyes are a thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon, to whomever whatever taming is needed, to them that is shown, I prostrate to the venerable Avalokiteśvara. Om, Mani, Padme, Hum), reciting continuously, visualize light radiating from the heart of the noble one, dissolving into oneself, thereby purifying obscurations. If you know the seven-limbed prayer and the Ratnagotravibhāga, etc., that is excellent. If you do not know them, you should still rise and recite the two verses beginning with "Unblemished," and prostrate as much as you can. Thus, know that from how the previous day was, the next day not even a small amount of food or drink is taken, this is called "fasting." Afterwards, one should generate the intention to dedicate the merit for the benefit of all sentient beings. Thus, for the sake of the elderly Monpa women who cannot practice the Uposatha ritual of the Bhikshuni Palmo exactly as it is, and who do not understand the recitations, but only follow the faith, it was copied from Padma Odling.

May it benefit all sentient beings. (701) The practice of the Guru Yoga based on Vajrasattva, entitled "Cultivating the Field of Manifest Joy," is presented here. (702) Manifest Joy is the realm of the self-existing Nirmanakaya. In the center of a vast and beautiful immeasurable palace, upon a lion-marked throne adorned with elephants at the crown of one's head, is the root guru, Vajra Akshobhya (Immovable Vajra). His body is white and radiant, embracing his consort with vajra and bell. He is adorned with the nine peaceful ornaments and thirteen garments. To the great master, the embodiment of all lineages, I prostrate and take refuge, offering my body and possessions. I confess all breaches of the three vows. I rejoice in the supreme merit of enlightenment. I beseech you to turn the Dharma wheel of the ocean of vehicles. I pray that you remain in the constant, eternal wheel. May the accumulation of merit be gathered into the great purity of the three spheres. I pray to you with devotion, faith, and longing. From the mandala of the supreme body, the vajra hair pore, may the mandala complete with the three seats manifest. Grant the vase empowerment, and may the aggregates, elements, and sense bases ripen and be blessed into the wheel of the complete three seats. From the mandala of the play of E-Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐवं, Romanized Sanskrit: evaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Thus) union, the bliss of the body and the vajra of speech, the nature of the vajra of non-conceptual mind, endowed with bodhicitta and the three liberations, may the three supreme empowerments be manifested through the ritual. In the realm of the winds and the obscurations of knowledge, may the distinctions of supreme joy be shattered at once. May the example, meaning, and co-emergent wisdom of the path of seeing and meditation, the non-learning wisdom of the guru's realm, grant the complete qualities of the Sugata realm. Om Ah Guru Vajra Sattva Ru Lu Hum Bhyo Hum (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ गुरु वज्र सत्त्व रु लु हुं भ्यो हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ guru vajra sattva ru lu huṃ bhyo huṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Guru, Vajra, Sattva, Ru Lu, Hum, Bhyo, Hum). Thus, recite with devotion, faith, and longing, and practice familiarization by relying on the meaning of the four empowerments as they are pronounced. This should be learned from the guru's mouth, and it should be recognized as an extremely uncommon instruction. By the great Ozer Trinley, who manifested the enlightened lineage of the victors, written by Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa. The Three-Kaya Guru Yoga Based on Amitabha Buddha. All phenomena and existence are the realm of Sukhavati. The ground is made of gold, as numerous as atoms. Adorned with various precious trees, flowing with streams of the eight qualities, and sweet with the songs of birds. All is the truth of the noble ones.
