After studying the tantras, the path of fruition, maturation, and liberation of the Vajrayana, after realizing the four visions of practice and warmth signs, explaining the transmission of vows and wisdom, bestowing oral instructions and transmissions, and making amends for transgressions, among the four kinds of teachers who are seen, heard, remembered, and touched, the path to liberation and omniscience depends solely on the lama. Since there is no one who can go independently on their own, all sutras and tantras say that relying on the lama is the root of the path. The path of maturation and liberation of the unsurpassed Vajrayana, after completing the practice (552), to obtain warmth signs for one's own benefit, especially to rely on one who has manifested the signs of the four visions of the supreme vehicle. To that end, the empowerment that does not separate from the permissions and prohibitions of vows, the transmission related to the wisdom of hearing and thinking, the transmission related to the practice of oral instructions, and the four ways to make amends for obstacles and transgressions, the first shows the suchness of the deity and mandala, etc., as manifest, which is seeing. The second is hearing because the meaning of the three continuums of ground, path, and result is combined with the wisdom of empowerment. The third is giving and applying the nature of suchness abiding in oneself to the memory as the essence of the path. The fourth shows the method of confession when transgressions occur and allows one to touch purity. Although four categories are shown, in reality, one is sufficient. In order to generally show how to practice the rituals from such a root lama: The four tantras and the path of the Great Perfection, the key points of the maturation and liberation path are well explained. Thus, the four of action, performance, yoga, and unsurpassed, and the path key points of the maturation and liberation of the Great Perfection, the pinnacle of the vehicle, should be received in sequence and practiced. The eighth, the aspiration for the two categories of action and performance, is: After maturing the stream of afflictions with water mandalas, etc., place the seed syllable in the heart of the visualized deity in front. The external conduct is in accordance with the upright life, and the inner sun yoga rises in the heart. The bliss that arises from looking at each other with the goddesses is the Kriya Tantra that uses the path. Like a master and disciple, obtaining accomplishments, after maturing with the empowerment of the vajra bell, place the seed syllable in the hearts of both oneself and the deity in front. The external skillful means of action and the inner profound yoga partially damage the path.

May (it be so)! May (I) be completely transformed by the bliss of smiling and laughing, devoted to the four hand mudras of the Uma lineage, accomplishing siddhis like a friend. May (I) properly practice in the place of Kriya and Carya tantras. (553) Here, as a stepping stone to the path of mantra, the Bodhisattva vows are definitely necessary. On top of that, without contradicting the permissions and prohibitions of the vows and precepts of the outer and inner mantras, having matured through the empowerment of water and diadem, practice the yoga of the deity with the syllables in the heart of the visualized deity in front, and the outer conduct is bathing, the five purities, eating the three whites, and fasting. By means of the complete enjoyment of desire, just by looking at each other with the consort, happiness is transformed into the path, and from the visualized deity in front, siddhis are accomplished like a master and servant. Carya tantra is on top of that, having matured through the empowerment of vajra, bell, and name, both oneself and the deity in front are clearly visualized as the dance of the deity, and the outer conduct is in accordance with Kriya tantra, and the inner yoga is practiced like Yoga tantra, and just by smiling and laughing with the consort, happiness is transformed into the path, similar to the three enjoyments of desire. There, having wisely understood the two yogas of with and without signs, in connection with the recitation of the outer four limbs and the inner four limbs, siddhis are accomplished like a friend from the visualized deity in front. Ninth, aspiration for Yoga is: May (it be so)! Having matured one's own continuum through the empowerment of the teacher, both oneself and the deity in front are generated as pure bodies, the wisdom beings are invited, and thus firmly abide, not transgressing the seal of the four mudras, the charm of the three samadhis mingles in the heart, satisfied by the bliss of the lotus hands joined together, may liberation be on the basis of the path of Yoga, which is mainly the inner yoga. Here, having matured through the empowerment of the Vajra Acharya on the mandala, from the separate generation and completion stages of gradually practicing skillful means and wisdom, both oneself and the deity in front are generated as deities, and the ninety-one wisdom beings are invited to merge. After firmly abiding in the appearance of the deity, bound by the four seals of the samaya mudra, dharma mudra, karma mudra, and maha mudra, in order to subdue the afflictions of ignorance, hatred, (554) desire, and miserliness of the trainees, it is spoken of with the term of four parts.
