The power of knowing the many realms of the world, the power of knowing various inclinations, the power of knowing the path of all journeys, the power of knowing the purification of all defilements, the power of knowing the remembrance of past lives, the power of knowing death and birth, the power of knowing the exhaustion of leaks, these are the ten powers. Twenty-eighth, wishing to obtain the four fearlessnesses. May I attain enlightenment for the sake of perfecting the Dharmakaya for my own benefit, abandoning all leaks and habitual tendencies, and for the benefit of others, may I possess the four fearless qualities in the path and the truth of cessation. For the sake of benefiting oneself, attaining enlightenment in the realm of Dharmakaya, which is free from elaboration, abandoning the leaks of attachment to the three spheres, and even the extremely subtle habitual tendencies of binding karma, when engaging in benefiting others, this is the path, this is the obstacle to the path, and in terms of the truth of cessation, now I have become a Buddha, I am the one who has exhausted all leaks. Such a promise does not allow for refutation that contradicts the Dharma, these are the four fearlessnesses. Twenty-ninth, wishing to obtain the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. Not acting with confusion or idle talk, realizing without losing desire and so on, wisdom and activity are unparalleled, may I obtain the unshared Buddha qualities. Among them, the qualities unshared with sentient beings are eight: six unshared behaviors, six unshared thoughts, three unshared activities, and three unshared wisdoms. The first is: not acting rashly like a monkey, therefore the body is not confused; not engaging in idle talk, therefore the speech is not confused; mindfulness is equal, therefore the mind is not confused. Likewise, not abiding in equality, not clinging to samsara and nirvana, and abandoning those who should be tamed and practicing equanimity, these are the six. (543) The six thoughts are: the desire to teach the Dharma, the diligence to accomplish the benefit of others, the mindfulness without the need for thought, the samadhi of the nature of reality, immeasurable wisdom, and liberation from what should be abandoned, therefore there is no loss, these are the six. The three unshared wisdoms are: seeing the Dharma of the three times without obstruction. The three unshared activities are: taming sentient beings with physical appearance and behavior, teaching the Dharma with all kinds of speech, and following sentient beings with compassionate wisdom, these are the eighteen.

May I be able to accomplish the birthplaces of the five kinds of birth. Similarly, may I subdue all of samsara and nirvana, possess immeasurable great compassion, have no trace of afflictions, be without attachment to the object of aspiration, be unobstructed, spontaneously accomplished, and be free from all defilements—these are the four. The ten powers are: power over life, power over possessions, power over mind, power over actions, power over birth, power over faith, power over aspirations, power over miraculous powers, power over Dharma, and power over wisdom. The detailed distinctions of each of these have already been explained in the chariot of the two truths. Third, the subsequent sequence is to make aspirations for the benefit of others, which has two aspects: general and specific. The first is: Thus, having attained mastery over the three bodies and five wisdoms of the Victorious Ones, as well as qualities and activities, etc., may I accomplish the benefit and happiness of limitless beings through immeasurable and pervasive deeds. Thus, the necessity of the Buddhist purpose (545) of accomplishing benefit for sentient beings is a characteristic of the Great Vehicle, and since there is no limitation to any side in terms of field, deeds, and the object of accomplishing benefit for others, the terms pervasive, immeasurable, and limitless are used to make the boundaries and limits invisible. Second, regarding the specific way of benefiting others, it is summarized with seven verses of aspiration and auspicious words: May I be as immeasurable as the wisdom of Manjushri, as equal as the compassion of Avalokiteshvara, and like the master of new power, may I accomplish the benefit of beings for countless eons. Whoever sees me, hears me, remembers me, touches me, or speaks of me, and those who hear my good words, may they soon become the lords of the Victorious Ones. May I be a great fire for those threatened by cold, a cool stream for those tormented by thirst, a boat and bridge for those who wish to cross over, and a supreme light for those who are trapped in darkness. For the impoverished, may I be a source of all desires, for those afflicted by illness, may I be the supreme medicine that benefits, for those threatened by death, may I be the nectar of life, and for those exhausted by the path, may I be a good resting place. May I be a mansion for those who have no place to go, delicious food for those tormented by hunger, the supreme drink for those who are thirsty, and for whatever anyone needs, may I appear as they desire. In short, may my three doors
