Knowing them as such, realizing ultimate reality as free from elaboration, like the sky, and especially with the skillful means of accomplishing the benefit of others, may I possess the wisdom of hearing, contemplating, and meditating. Among these, all the conventional truths of the path, from the perspective of being examined, are known as dreamlike and illusory. Knowing the ultimate nature of cessation as truly existent and free from elaboration is the nature of wisdom. Moreover, with the wisdom of hearing, distinguishing between dharma and non-dharma, if all the direct realizations of the path are not understood, the qualities of contemplation and meditation will wander aimlessly. Therefore, the wisdom of hearing is crucial at the beginning. In this regard, neither the dull-witted nor the impoverished need to be afraid. In order to easily practice the dharma that one's mind can handle and is compatible with, rely on a good lama and accomplishment will come through hearing. Why is this so? Because once one is on the path, the wisdom that arises from meditation will naturally arise from within. After that, with the wisdom of contemplation, measuring the meaning of straightforward and indirect intentions, if there is confusion about the truth or falsehood of one's own nature, one should rely on a qualified spiritual friend to bring it under the scope of practice. After that, in solitary places in forests and nomadic hermitages, free from the thorns of meditation and evil companions, focusing single-mindedly on the wisdom of meditation, from the path of seeing just mentioned onwards, all the qualities of the five paths arise in dependence on the wisdom of meditation. Sixteenth, the self-result of wishing to enter, commonly wishing for the qualities of the ten grounds and five paths: ༈ Having aroused the intention with the mind of enlightenment, with actions endowed with the six perfections, striving at all times and in all circumstances, may I gradually traverse the ten grounds through the five paths. Also, if one does not arise from the excellent intention of the mind of enlightenment, which is focused on the ocean-like realm of sentient beings, then the actions of the six perfections cannot become the path of omniscience. Therefore, through the gate of possessing both intention and action, relying on striving at all times and in all circumstances on the correct path of the perfections, may I rely on the five paths and gradually traverse the nature of the ten grounds in sequence. Thus, I pray. Seventeenth, wishing for the path of accumulation: ༈ Also, with the wisdom of mindfulness and the effort of the four correct abandonments,

By abiding in the Samadhi of miraculous feet, may I first enter the Path of Accumulation. Therein, for the small Path of Accumulation, the four mindfulnesses are: in meditative equipoise, contemplate like the sky; in post-meditation, contemplate impurity and illusion-like appearances. For the mindfulness of feelings, in meditative equipoise, contemplate emptiness of inherent existence; in post-meditation, see all feelings as suffering and without essence. For the mindfulness of mind, in meditative equipoise, contemplate emptiness of inherent existence; in post-meditation, meditate on non-affirming and non-abiding. By meditating on these four mindfulnesses of phenomena, one enters the Four Noble Truths of the Path of Seeing. First, one understands the body as suffering; second, one understands feelings as suffering and abandons the origin; third, one prevents the clinging to permanence of the mind; fourth, one prevents the clinging to self in phenomena. In the intermediate Path of Accumulation, one does not allow unwholesome dharmas that have not arisen to arise; one cuts off those that have arisen; one generates wholesome dharmas that have not arisen; one increases those that have arisen. In the great Path of Accumulation, the four miraculous feet are: by means of meditative concentration, making the mind workable, from effort arises the miraculous foot of aspiration; similarly, effort, mind, and the miraculous foot of conduct, these four. Eighteenth, aspiration for the Path of Joining: May I abide in the Great Vehicle Path of Joining (538), in warmth, peak, forbearance, and supreme dharma, and in the nature of the five faculties of faith, effort, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom, and the five powers. Among these, in the two, warmth and peak, the five faculties are cultivated: by generating liberation with the five faculties of faith, and so on, these are the five incorporeal faculties. The five powers are: the power of faith and the power of effort, etc., as before, because they subdue opposing factors, they are called the five powers. Thus, the wisdom of the four parts of the Path of Joining has separate distinctions of small, medium, and large. Nineteenth, aspiration for the Path of Seeing: May I cultivate the seven branches of enlightenment: mindfulness, discrimination of dharmas, effort, joy, tranquility, concentration, and equanimity, abide in the Path of Seeing, and attain the ground of great joy. That is, mindfulness
