I, the completion stage of the channels, winds, and bindus with supports, and the completion stage of the clear light wisdom without supports, of which the latter is the more profound completion stage, namely the Great Clear Light Completion Stage. Its measure is: the gate of entry, the two of empowerment and samaya; the two of path and yoga; the fruit and the five perfections. It is like weaving cloth, relying on many warps to become a piece of cloth, relying on many different expressions to lead to the same meaning. The reason is that the inherent qualities of the ground and fruit are spontaneously present in oneself, symbolized by the warp of the path, so it is reasonable in the tantra. If the individual characteristics of each of these were explained in detail, the expressions would be endless, but this is a brief account. Secondly, to explain separately the categories of the symbolic words of the tantras. Firstly, of the Mind Series tantras, there are said to be eighteen Mindless Tantras translated into Tibetan, of which the five early translations translated by the great translator Vairochana are: The Cuckoo of Awareness, The Great Shaking, The Garuda Soaring, Gold Refining on Stone, The Unfailing Victory Banner, and The Great Sky. The thirteen later translations translated by Yeshe Nyingpo, the great Pandit Chimpo Mala, Kumaraja, and Yu-dra are: The Peak Arising, The King of the Sky, The Blissful Transformation, The General Synthesis of Completion, The Bodhicitta Drop, The Extensive Bliss, The Wheel of Life, The Six Bindus, The General Gathering of Completion, The All-Gathering Lineage, The Venerable Lord, and The Accomplisher of Practice. On top of these, adding the Kunjed Gyalpo previously translated by Vairochana—the tantra whose view is like the sky, without beginning or end, The Marvelous, the fourth chapter of the Bodhicitta Sutra, and the third chapter of the Enumeration Sutra, the fifth perfection of the Perfectly Endowed Sutra, etc., the ten Bodhicitta Sutras, and the ten self-commentaries with small commentaries, and the five further commentaries, and the four sections of Explanatory Tantras, etc., most of which were translated into Chinese by the Pandit Shri Singha and the great translator Vairochana. The Omniscient Chimpo added Kunjed, The Marvelous, and the thirteen sutras to the previous eighteen Mindless Tantras, making a total of twenty-one Mind Series tantras. Many of the eighteen tantras have similar names, but some are earlier or later, and the number and translators are different.

Thus it is said. These mostly exist in the Nyingma lineage's volumes of the Ka category. Such as the 'Klong sde'i rgyud,' 'Khor ba dong sprugs,' 'Rinchen gsang ba,' 'Bya rtsol med pa,' 'Nam mkha' klong yangs,' and so on, said to be one hundred thousand volumes. Similarly, the Man ngag tantras such as 'Padma klong gsal,' 'Padma dbang rgyal,' 'Yid bzhin rtog gi rgyud,' and so on, are said to be fifty-one thousand volumes. Specifically, in the gate of the distinct, there are 'Sangsrgyas mnyam sbyor,' 'Thig le skor gyi snying po'i rgyud' five thousand three hundred volumes, and those that arose from the 'Gsang ba spyod pa sa bon gyi rgyud.' And the seventeen Great Perfection definitive tantras such as 'Sgra thal 'gyur,' together with Khros ma, are known as eighteen. Among these, the essence extracted from the sixty-four hundred thousand shlokas of the Great Perfection, being even more essential than the essence itself, is therefore particularly emphasized. Regarding the definitive expression of these later ones, if we discuss in detail the classification, the method of collection, the key points, the necessity, and the titles that define the mother and son, then firstly, the classification has eighteen categories, defined as a collection of examples, meanings, and explanations, as stated in the 'Muthig phreng ba': Like the ocean and the sun, like the lion and the king of mountains, like the wheel and the key, like the sword and the clear mirror, like alchemy and the separation of mother and child, like the mirror and the pearl string, like the snake knot and the great garuda, like the water stream and the razor, like the king and the treasury, thus distinguishing them, one clarifies the lineage of words. Therefore, the tantra like the ocean is 'Rigpa rang shar,' the tantra like the sun is 'Rdo rje sems dpa' snying gi me long,' the tantra like the lion is 'Seng ge rtsal rdzogs,' the tantra like the king of mountains is 'Yi ge med pa,' the tantra like the wheel is 'Bkra shis mdzes ldan,' the tantra like the key is 'Sgra thal 'gyur,' the tantra like the sword is 'Kuntu bzang po thugs kyi me long,' the tantra like the clear mirror is 'Sgron me 'bar ba,' the tantra like alchemy is 'Nor bu phra bkod,' the tantra like the separation of mother and child is 'Nyi zla kha sbyor,' the tantra like the mirror is 'Ngo sprod spras pa,' the tantra like the pearl string is 'Muthig phreng ba,' the tantra like the snake knot is 'Rigpa rang grol,' the tantra like the great garuda is 'Klong drug pa,' the tantra like the water stream is 'Rdzogs pa rang byung,' the tantra like the razor
