Since it cannot be destroyed by the calamities of earth, water, fire, and wind, it will not be damaged even if hammered on an iron anvil. However, relics can be destroyed, and even if burned to ashes, they will be consumed, so relics will not arise. It is very important that the body is not completely burned when cremating the body in the hope of obtaining relics. And so on, for other sequential signs as well. These are general inductions. Specifically, bad omens, such as wind and hail, may be sent by angry non-humans, or they may be signs of the death of other sinful beings. Good omens, such as rainbows, light, and clear skies, may be signs of other holy beings ascending, attaining samadhi, or passing away. Therefore, what is said here is that the signs of one's own liberation are powerful. Those who are good in mind and conduct while alive will have such good signs at death. Even if there are good signs for those who are evil while alive, they are the signs of others. In the world, there is a saying that rainbow seekers meet, and it should be understood that bad consequences will arise from his signs, because inner and outer are interdependent. If one does not understand the special circumstances here, one may slander holy beings by mistaking them for having bad signs, or one may rejoice at the appearance of good signs for sinners, such as meeting rainbow seekers, and follow them to learn. In order to avoid these situations, this is what is said. And so on. Nowadays, very few people can understand this point, so there are many legends in the world about powerful people such as sinful officials having relics after death, and expectations of relics appearing. Such points must be understood. In addition, there are many stories about very cruel old hunters who, at the time of death, exert all their strength to keep their bodies upright, and whose bodies become stiff after breathing stops, and whose corpses are found in a wonderful state of lotus posture. Therefore, for anyone, it should be analyzed by a learned and impartial person, using unbiased language. Incidentally, doubts have been cleared. Second, to explain the unsurpassed secret, there are two parts: generally explaining its nature, and specifically explaining the determinants of the profound oral instructions. The first part has five points: the nature of the ground of reality, the way sentient beings are deluded from it, the nature of clear light at that time, and how to practice abiding in this way through the path.

Ga! This is the classification of the fruition that is ultimately accomplished. First, in the Great Tantra of Auspicious and Beautiful Splendor, it says: Before the enlightened Buddha appeared, and before the unenlightened sentient beings appeared, the awareness of self-arisen wisdom did not waver from its basis, and it remained in union with the three unconditioned appearances. Then, the self-knowing wisdom itself spoke of the reality of its own way of abiding. O, this vast and boundless expanse of appearance is the great Dharmakaya that does not waver, and it abides as the great Buddha without error. The essence body remains without cessation, the essence does not change, the means are clear, it does not waver, it does not move, it does not shake, all appearances are perfected at once, all wisdoms are perfected in an instant, all bodies abide in maturity, all appearances of light are clear without obscuration. In the appearance of reality, it is not obscured by the way of appearance. Essence, nature, and compassion are completely perfected without interruption. The reality of essence also abides like a body, but there is no appearance of face, eyes, ears, etc. It abides like emptiness, but it does not abide like inert emptiness. It appears greatly like the five lights, but it is not divided into colors. It appears without interruption, but it does not exist like a connection. It contemplates like without beginning or end, But it does not aim in any direction. It appears as if it is not stained by parts, but it is not divided into categories. It appears as if it is without interruption, but it does not cling to categories. It is like yellow and its qualities are complete. It appears like red and its understanding is unobstructed. It appears like green and its qualities are complete. It abides in the five colors themselves and does not cling to colors. Round without shape. Without cessation and without conditions. Without pervasiveness and with great self-radiance. Self-luminous and with inner and outer. Without effort and accomplished by nature. The appearance of compassion is: it appears like emptiness and clarity is without cessation. Without elaboration and with great elaboration. Nature is without cessation and with various uncertain great appearances, luminous and without darkness. Without cessation and with great non-existence. Naturally empty and with universal manifestation. Without mixing and with complete manifestation. Pervading all and with oneness. Pure and with delusion without cessation. Perfect and with one appearance. Compassion
