It is said that, therefore, it was proclaimed that his two hands could lift even a thousand elephants. Because he could lift a thousand elephants, he received four different names. Even though the attendants adorned him with many ornaments, the splendor of the Bodhisattva made those ornaments pale. At that time, the goddess dwelling in that grove manifested her form and said, "For him, the natural adornment is more beautiful than artificial ornaments." Having said that, she disappeared. His mastery in crafts was manifested as follows: In order to demonstrate the power of his previous training, like learning writing, he learned letters, arithmetic, games, etc., from insects, armor, and his uncle, who was like a god. When he offered from one to five hundred letters, because they asked him which of the sixty-four types of letters, such as the heart of the lotus of wisdom, he had learned, the teachers did not even know the names of those letters, abandoned their arrogance, and placed him in a state of wonder. The young man again wrote some letters and asked, "Tell me, what are these called?" Since they did not know, the teachers were also overwhelmed, and they led people, including ten thousand children, onto the path of enlightenment. His uncle, Zanglen, taught him to ride elephants and the five worldly throwing techniques, etc., but he demonstrated throwing methods that surpassed those, causing them to be ashamed and regard him as a spectacle of wonder. Similarly, he became unrivaled in all fields of art, such as crafts and swimming, which were endless and unmatched. When he was sixteen years old, astrologers predicted that he should marry, and the elders of the Shakya clan urged his father. The father asked the young man, but he did not agree. After repeated requests, he said, "If a woman can be found who is beautiful in form, free from five faults, and endowed with eight qualities, I will marry in order to ripen sentient beings." He wrote this on paper and gave it to his father. The father, according to the praise, had the attendants look for such a woman and sent a Brahmin caste person to investigate. The daughters of the Shakya clan, who carried clubs in their hands, all possessed those qualities, and the daughter also acknowledged that she possessed those qualities and vowed to become the queen. They also urged him with a signal not to delay.

year. At that time, the Brahmin stated the reason to the father king, who said, "This woman has great magical powers, let's see which young man she likes." So he had the princes and maidens gather together to make offerings, and proclaimed this matter. Then, the Bodhisattva sat on the seat of the elephant who could withstand a thousand elephants, and made offerings to the maidens in turn. The other maidens took the offerings and quickly left. At that time, the objects for the offering were prepared, and everything was arranged? Not having found a companion, (the maiden) stared at the young man with her eyes, and said in a complaining tone, "What fault have I committed, that the objects for the offering are not left for me?" The prince enlightened her with words, saying, "You are late." And he showed her the finger ring worth a hundred thousand gold coins. The maiden stretched out her hand and said, "Is that all you will give?" The prince said, "If you want, take the other ornaments as well." So she untied the pearl necklace from her neck and left, and the prince thought that she was in love with him. At that time, the father king said to the Shakya who held the club, "Give your daughter to the young man who is in love with her to be his queen." He said, "My clan only marries those who know art and wrestling, and will not marry others." His arrogant attitude made the father king's face turn black. At that time, the young man reported, "God, is there anyone in the city who can compete with me in art?" He requested and was granted permission. The king announced, "Hold an art competition in the great city of Shakya." At that time, the son of Susiddhi the magician, handsome and pleasing, and Tevas Datta, the son of Amrita-food, the archer, son of the club-bearer, and other sons of the Shakyas, strutted with arrogance, and the son of the leader, Charka, and other immensely powerful people gathered for the art competition. At the gathering, it was agreed that the one with the most excellent art would win fame and a partner. At that time, in Vaishali, the Licchavis made a special elephant, and they knew that it was due to the power of the young Siddhartha, and because of poverty, they went to the gate of Kapilavastu, and met Tevas Datta coming out of the city, and asked, "Whose elephant is this?" They told the previous reason.
