When Gepa Drakgo rebukes the Tang Dynasty texts, he says that the Tathagata was born from the ribs, saying that this is the gestation of the womb, which is a very foolish expression. The teacher, the great sage, said, "From the opening of the womb to twelve days." During this period, sexual intercourse between men and women is acceptable. Although the place of entry is only the mother's womb, you think that this is a sign of absence, saying that he was born from the ribs, so he was not born from the womb. Saying such words is too extreme. In order to destroy (the opposing arguments), he transformed his body into the nature of Vajra and displayed endless miracles. Gods and dragons rained down flowers and bathed the Buddha's body. The earth also shook in six ways. The leaves of all plants flourished and bore fruit. He took seven steps in four directions and roared like a lion. In the places where he stepped, seven lotuses offered by the gods grew, and the gods also praised him. At that time, there were five hundred virtuous people such as Joyful and Good Fortune, five thousand Shakya people, and eight hundred subjects such as Wish, ten thousand Shakya women such as Holder of Fame, eight hundred maids such as Wish Mother, twenty thousand daughters of Kshatriyas and Brahmin householders, twenty thousand excellent horses such as Steed Praise, ten thousand elephant kings, and six thousand cows also gave birth to calves. In the center of the continent, five hundred Bodhi tree nurseries appeared, so King Śuddhodana called out with the voice that all meanings had been accomplished, and named the prince Gautama Siddhartha (All Meaning Accomplished). At that time, it was said that the kings of four border states also gave birth to sons, namely: the son of King Padma the Great of the city of Magadha, Embodied Essence; the son of King Rib Protrusion, Brahma-given, Radiant King, in Kosala or Shravasti; the son of King Boundless Circumference, Supreme Light, in the Holy City or Stone Jewel City; and the son of Hundred Armies, Eastern, in Kaushambi. Each of them had rays of light appear, thinking that this was a sign of their own son, and named them accordingly. When they asked the soothsayer what kind of young man this was, the soothsayer predicted that if he stayed in the palace, he would become a Chakravartin king, and if he renounced the household from home, he would attain perfect enlightenment.

Seven days after his birth, his mother passed away and was reborn in the Trayastrimsha heaven. Immediately after birth, his aunt, who later became known as Prajapati Lord of Beings), became the primary caregiver, nurturing him in her arms. The wet nurses were loving, washing away impurities, and eight groups of wet nurses, totaling thirty-two, were entrusted with his upbringing. Later, when he arrived in Kapilavastu, many Shakya people gathered, and one fierce, cunning, and harsh Shakya man called the Bodhisattva "Capable One." Because twelve sounds, such as the sound of chariots, constantly echoed in the city, causing fear, but when the youth resided there, those discordant sounds gradually subsided, and he remained as calm as the "Capable One," he was known as "Shakya the Capable One." At that time, whatever boy or girl was born into the Shakya clan, the Shakya people would worship a guardian spirit named Shakya Increase (藏文:ཤཱཀྱ་འཕེལ།), who was permanently dwelling there, as if he were a god. When they began to pay homage to him, the Bodhisattva, as soon as he saw him approaching his dwelling, immediately came out to greet and pay homage, so he was named "God of Gods." At that time, the Shakya people wondered whether the youth would become a Chakravartin or a Tathagata. The stainless hermit of Mount Kun-dzin observed and examined his marks, refuted the words of the Brahmins who had prophesied before, and dispelled their doubts, saying: 'Those conceited rulers are foolish; a Chakravartin will not appear in an age of strife. This treasury of Dharma, which has accumulated supreme merit, will surely conquer sins and become a Buddha.' He foresaw his renunciation, asceticism, enlightenment, and turning of the wheel of Dharma, and so on. At that time, the hermit realized that he would soon pass away, and with a dejected expression, he bowed and circumambulated the youth, and then returned to his abode. Later, when the youth was five years old, his hair was cut, and at six years old, he kept a topknot, and grew up in his mother's arms. When he was eating scorched rice in a golden vessel, his mother could not stop him. So, five hundred elephants, laden with vessels, tried to snatch the food, but he used his finger to bring the elephants
