At the junction of the channels, there are three channels: the weak channel, the strong channel, the all-pervading channel, or the central channel. Among them, the weak channel has fewer functions and is experienced by relying on the power of bindus. Because it is difficult to express, it is called "Ma". In the weak channel, the white mundane bindu flows, possessing the nature of skillful means. The color of the channel is white, and it is located on the right side of men and the left side of women. Its function is to generate bodhicitta in men, while women's bodhicitta is closed and cannot satisfy desire. The strong channel is without bends or branches, so it is called "straight" and is unchangeable. It is the basis for the maturation and manifestation of mundane phenomena, so it is called "Ma". In the strong channel, the red essence flows, possessing the nature of wisdom. The color of the channel is red, and it is located on the left side of men and the right side of women. It maintains the power of blood flow in men, and through the action of bleeding from the nose, it maintains the moment of wisdom. For women, five coarse poisons separate from the root of the five families, from which arise thirty-two different deceptions, resulting in thirty-two kinds of diseases. Due to its power, sometimes the uterus protrudes, and the channels change, causing blood to flow out. Due to the oppression of the five families, the seed does not drip, and many worms are produced, and so on. In other tantras, the situation of these two channels, the distinction between male and female, is reversed. The Omniscient One believes that it is another intention. The so-called all-pervading channel is because, relying on it, bindus, the bliss of the channels, and the bliss of the winds all arise, so it is called "all-pervading". Because it is universally present in the whole, it is called "moving". The left and right sides of these two channels do not reside on the edges, but are located in the straight center, so it is called the central channel, and the color is blue-green. In this great secret occasion, in the center of this channel, there exists the supreme and unchanging precious channel of clear light, called the Kati golden channel. Because the wind flows from the central channel, it is the part of non-conceptuality. Although it is said that by nature, all three channels have three winds of male, female, and neuter flowing, the weak and strong channels have a part of non-conceptual neuter wind flowing, so it is said that the wind flows from the central channel.

Having placed the vow, therefore, when the wind and the abiding bindu merge, three experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-thought arise, and three great visions of luminosity appear. Moreover, when the pure light channels gather without transforming into the supreme, inconceivable luminosity manifests. The Omniscient One said that this key point is a profound secret that is extremely difficult to realize. In general, the nature of these channels is as follows: the digestive channel has the nature of taking in food, separating essence from waste, and excreting. If its interior is wide, one eats a lot; if narrow, one eats little; if crooked, one always vomits and cannot take in food, and various sudden illnesses arise. The ascending channel increases the body's heat and balances it. If its end is narrow, the body is naturally hot; if wide, it is cold due to being small. Crookedness and changes, etc., are similar to the digestive channel. The pervasive channel shows the nature of the body's thirst and non-thirst. If it is narrow, one is always not thirsty; if wide, one is very thirsty; if crooked, it shows various uncertain actions. If it suddenly trembles and changes, various illnesses arise where the body and speech are not under control. Moreover, if one is skilled in the key point of the digestive channel, one can cut off attachment to food and live by meditation. If one is skilled in the ascending channel, one can cut off attachment to clothing and generate heat. If one is skilled in the central channel, one can cut off attachment to thirst and sever the continuity of dreams, and practice the meaning of luminosity. Therefore, the key points of these three are very important. The essence of these channels is as follows: the digestive channel is bliss, the ascending channel is emptiness, and the pervasive channel is the nature of non-duality of bliss and emptiness. One should know that they are the nature that shows the wisdom beyond grasping and grasper, and effort. Furthermore, the special feature here is that in the center of the central channel, within the light channel, abides the spontaneously present bindu of luminosity. The classification of the four chakras is as follows: the crown chakra, the great bliss chakra, has thirty-two channel petals; the throat chakra, the enjoyment chakra, has sixteen channel petals; the heart chakra, the dharma chakra, has eight channel petals; and the navel chakra, the emanation chakra, has sixty-four channel petals. Moreover, all the channels that branch out from the digestive channel's part flow with white essence, all the channels that branch out from the ascending channel's part flow with red essence and blood, all the channels that branch out from the central channel run with wind, and the (channels) that branch out from luminosity are subtle light channels in the center of the four chakras.
