The nature of. In a state like a mirror, without bias or partiality, although various phenomena appear, one should know that the nature of reality, in which the elaboration of one and many is pacified in the expanse, is inconceivable. It is important not to regard the mistaken habit of thinking that appearances are mind as the true state. This can be divided into seven. The first, the Mind-Only school that claims that mind is the aspect of things, is: Thus, all appearances of the world, both container and contents, are the play or power of mind. Although they appear in various ways, since mind itself has no essence, appearances also have no essence. Since the phenomena of appearance and imputation are not established, the play of mind arises from mind and appears in mind. Although it arises in mind, since the mind itself, the basis of appearance, has no essence, it is not correct to consider the play and the mind as one or different. Therefore, the great charioteer, the great Longchenpa, said: That is merely showing that appearances as external objects are not established as external objects. Whether pure or impure, samsara or nirvana, all arise through grasping or not grasping the self-arisen wisdom. But the place of arising and the one who arises are pure in the expanse, which is the special characteristic of this. So it is said. The second, the Mind-Only school that considers the result to be the origin of mind, is: The result refers to the primordial expanse, and since the nature of reality does not change, the mind does not change. Since it is believed that phenomena are self-liberated, the appearances of the basis of liberation exist spontaneously. All the illusions that appear as the three realms and the container and contents, although they do not exist in reality, appear. From the aspect of non-existence, they have never moved from the ground and will not move. Because it does not change, emptiness is devoid of impure self-nature. From the aspect of appearance, it first arose from the expanse. Now it abides in the expanse. Finally, it is also liberated into the expanse, like a magical display in the sky. Because it is unconditioned, it is the basis for establishing the three realms. Samsara has no beginning. The ultimate, unborn, spontaneously accomplished state is the established basis. Since it is originally established, it cannot be liberated from the beginning by antidotes. Since self-established awareness does not rely on antidotes. Because there is no effort, it is spontaneously accomplished, free from various extremes. So it is believed. The third, the Mind-Only school that confuses faults and obscurations, is: Since all eight stages are imputed by the mind, they have become phenomena that deviate from the ground, and therefore have not become true. Non-existence is a biased

Relying on spontaneous accomplishment, one falls into the extreme of existence and the extreme of clinging. Falling into non-existence becomes causeless nature, therefore it cannot be established. Here, the essence of self-arising wisdom is separated from the mind. By attributing the key point to causes and conditions, it is believed that the Dharma nature of self-arising without action, the great emptiness, is free from thoughts and clinging minds. For all the appearances of objects that appear impure, there is no basis for the origin of the first occurrence. Now there is no characteristic of dwelling here. In the end, there is no Dharma of the place to go and the one who goes, so it is the basis of transcending causeless results. Because obscurations transcend the path, they are not stained by good and evil deeds, and are the great liberation of the three realms. Liberation and delusion, abandonment and intimacy, all are attributed to the groundlessness. The direction of the mind that collapses the basis of reasoning is that because the direction of the mind is known to be ungraspable, it is called the exhaustion of the source of the interpreted cycle of existence. Therefore, the true meaning of the basis is immutable, so in the Dharma nature of the Great Primordial Liberation, there is no basis for karma and habitual tendencies. Because the mind has no birth, the limits of karma and habitual tendencies are exhausted. No matter where the accumulated karma is established, there is no reason or grasp, so the source of maturation and fruit is lost. Therefore, in the realm of the unborn self-existing wisdom, even the name of samsara is not established. The unobstructed play of the Great Spontaneous Perfection manifests in all directions, and all the Dharma of the logic of essence cannot transcend the primordial realm, so it is believed to be liberated in the non-duality of samsara and nirvana. Fifth, cutting off partiality, without bias, the direction of the mind of self-existing wisdom is that because the essence of self-existing wisdom is not established anywhere, it pervades all of samsara and nirvana without bias. Therefore, all the Dharmas that appear pure and impure arise from this power. There is not a single particle of the self-nature of samsara, evil destinies, and nirvana established in the essence. Appearances are different, so they do not transcend the logic of self-nature partiality, self-nature is pure, and samsara and nirvana are mixed. It is the view of pervasive spontaneous perfection. Moreover, not falling into the side of existence, non-existence, appearance, and emptiness, it is therefore considered to be a Dharma nature that transcends happiness and suffering, and is inactive and vast.
