The four emanated swans descended from the sky together, and after bathing in front of the princess, the four emanations flew into the sky. The chief emanation—the golden bird—landed on the princess's heart, touched her beak three times, infused a radiant HŪṂ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) into her, and then flew back to its original place. Thereupon, the princess was amazed and recounted the dream and the story of the swan to her father and attendants. The father was astonished and said, "This must be the coming of an emanation of the Buddha," and he bestowed many rewards and offerings. After some time, a nine-pointed vajra made of gold appeared from the princess's heart, and everyone was amazed. Then, that vajra dissolved on its own, and a boy adorned with auspicious marks appeared, holding a vajra in his right hand and a precious staff in his left, reciting Vajrasattva, Akashagarbha, and so on. Every morning, all the Tathagatas would come and go through the pores of that boy's skin as the sunlight shone upon him. They unanimously prophesied, "You should work for the benefit of sentient beings!" All the gods, nagas, yakshas, and the eight classes of spirits also appeared to pay homage to him. After some time, the glorious Vajrasattva himself appeared and entrusted him with the twenty-one thousand fascicles of the Great Expanse on his right and the Bodhicitta staff with eighteen Mind Series texts on his left, saying, "Bodhi is naturally unadorned, naturally enlightened, so I bestow empowerment without birth or death." Then he disappeared. Everyone was delighted and showed the boy to a Brahmin astrologer. The Brahmin was very amazed and prophesied, "This is an emanation who will become the master of the supreme vehicle's teachings." He was named Garab Dorje. From his youth, he became unmatched in all things, including games, and when he assumed the throne, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani himself, appeared and fully bestowed all the empowerments, including the complete empowerment of universal sovereignty. He summoned the three Putras from the southwestern island of Lotus Light and bestowed empowerments and established vows. He bestowed all the tantras, empowerments, and instructions of the Nine Spaces, the twenty thousand fascicles of the Great Expanse, and so on, at the same time.
