This is the very first birth. That is, in the time of the teaching of the Body, it dwells in the land of Oddiyana (乌仗那), on an island with the taste of salty ocean. At that time, it causes countless emanations with light, sound, and monks endowed with miraculous powers to arise. In the time of the teaching of Speech, at the Vajra Place in the foothills of the Himalayas, the kings of the Yakshas pay homage. In the time of the teaching of Mind, it is in the sky of Vajrasana Likewise, the teaching of the Sambhogakaya, the actual self-arisen teaching, arising naturally from the blessing of the only son teaching. The four-finger-sized scripture that arises naturally from the material of one hundred and one precious jewels, proclaiming the self-sound of Dharma, is the second birth of the teaching. In the time of the teaching of the Body, the Dakinis hold it and dwell in the sky five hundred yojanas above Vajrasana In the time of Speech, the Dakinis also hold it in the sky of Vajrasana In the time of Mind, it dwells in the cave of the extremely wrathful sage. The form that arises naturally from the blessing of the twelve emanations, made of the material of one hundred and one precious jewels, and arising naturally without being made by anyone, matching the body size of beings, is the third birth of the teaching. In the time of the teaching of the Body, the Dakinis hold it in the sky five hundred yojanas above Vajrasana From the time of Speech, it is not fixed in one place, but roams around the Jambudvipa It becomes a field of offering for the special gatherings of gods and humans. Sometimes, when harm occurs to the teaching, light emanates from the body, Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) emanates from the mouth, and fire emanates from the eyes, thereby averting it. In the time of the teaching of Mind, it dwells on the top floor of the immeasurable palace of the gods of the Thirty-Three, called the Stacked House of Vajrapani. These three emanations of Body, Speech, and Mind, since they are not made by anyone, cannot be destroyed. Arising naturally from the blessing of Body, Speech, and Mind, they have immeasurable miraculous powers and qualities. Whoever encounters them has the activity of liberating phenomena into their own purity. Among them, the support of the Body has the activity of liberating the body of whoever encounters it into clear light. The support of Speech liberates merely by encountering it and hearing its sound. The support of Mind pacifies the diseases of all beings who desire to pacify their diseases.

And so on, all desires are turned around and connected to liberation. Among them, from the lifespan of immeasurable years to the time of 100,000 years, the teachings are subdued by the body; then until the lifespan of seventy years, they are subdued by speech; and then until the lifespan of ten years, the teachings are subdued by mind. Therefore, in the present time, the Vajra is in the sky of Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya). The scriptures are in the cave of the extremely wrathful sage. The body is in the Immeasurable Palace of the Thirty-Three (Trayastrimsa) Gods, on top of the Vajrapani (Vajra-holder) pavilion. Because these three manifestations reside in this way, the Dharma of Jambudvipa is superior to other places, and the teachings of the self-perfected Great Perfection of view and realization are also propagated. As it says in the Thal 'gyur: "Seventeen secret definitive instructions, the pegs of the teachings and the magical letters, etc., in the first pure land of the manifestations, the teacher Samantabhadra, abides in the Dense Arrayed Pure Land. Then in the Place of the Willow Tree, the All-Knowing Vairochana, matures the five families with this. Then what I hold, is the sacred life-force of the teachings. One thousand and two Buddhas, will definitely arise relying on this." In this way, the appearance of a thousand Buddhas in this Sahā world to benefit sentient beings is also regarded as the blessing of the three births of the teachings. Among them, the prophecy of the twelve teachers who are particularly famous is as follows. It also says in the same text: "Sentient beings born from transformation, from eggs, from heat, and from wombs, are matured. From these teachings of those to be tamed, twelve wheels of Dharma arise. With this, thirty-six deeds are accomplished, relying on body, speech, and mind, appearing to the sentient beings to be tamed." The nature of what is said here is vast, and has been explained in the Supreme Great Vehicle, so it will not be elaborated here. Furthermore, after Vajradhara established the realm of Akanishta (Brahma), after countless eons, when the beginning of the formation of this world began, these three births of the teachings were located in a realm called "Yolden" in the north. In that realm, due to the individual karma of sentient beings, there are seven times when these appear, and seven times when they do not appear, for a total of fourteen periods of rise and fall. The seven periods of appearance are: possessing essence.
