From Drokpa Pema Rigdzin Wangpo, I received the 'Collected Sutras' from the texts on healing methods. From the accomplished Shri Natha, I received the combined oral transmission and explanation of the Root Tantra of Illusion. From the incarnate Tulku Rinpoche Tenzin Lhundrup, I received the transmission of all the Tantra Treasures, including the Mind Section, without exception. All the meaning and realization of these are obtained through the blessings of Gyalwa Rinpoche Longchen Rabjam and from the scriptures themselves. Now, let us focus on telling the story of Rongpa Chokyi Zangpo, who is renowned as the most outstanding Pandit in the land of snow. Rongban Pelgyi Rinpoche's son, named Rongban Rinchen Tsultrim, through performing the ritual of the five manifestations of the causal stage, obtained the wisdom like that of the elephant of direction, the erudition of Yeshe Nyingpo's feet, the eloquence of Chandra Gomi, the debate of Dharmakirti, and the writing of Acharya Hero. The sprout of enlightenment, the essence of these five perfections, took root in Narong Rong in the lower Tsang region of Tibet. It is said that in the early period of Buddhism, a Pandit named Smriti Jñana Kirti came to Tibet and revised some of the translated tantras in the Do Kham region, translated many esoteric commentaries, including the commentary on the 'Namasangiti,' and many sadhanas, including 'Manjushri Guhyasamaja.' He also composed some treatises on grammar and is said to be the immediate reincarnation of that one who passed into nirvana. Examining the lineage of the 'Do Mang Sutra' in the Kangyur, Smriti and Drengchak are cited as authorities. Preliminary manifestation. Furthermore, a Pandit named Atsara Tral Ringmo came to Kham and translated and explained works including the extensive commentary on the 'Guhyasamaja Tantra,' and it is also said that he was the reincarnation of that deceased one. From a young age, he possessed great wisdom that arose spontaneously, and he listened to teachings from Gartön Tsultrim Zangpo in Nyangme. When his father went to deliver supplies, his companions said, 'Your son is clever but also mischievous; if he can discipline us, he should be taken this time.' His father asked the teacher if he should take him if they said that. The great Gartön said, 'Do not say that.'

It is said that he understood all the Dharma. At the age of eleven, he studied logic. In terms of Dharma, even when playing as a child, he could speak about the Dharma as fluently as a teacher. It is said that he could understand all the Dharma without making a single mistake just by hearing it once, so he was known as an emanation of Manjushri. By the age of thirteen, it was as if he had heard the complete teachings, and he was clear about all knowledge. He himself said, "I have not heard little, because there is no Dharma that I have not heard. I have not heard much either, because all the Dharma only needs to be heard once." It is said that this great being had swift and profound wisdom, and possessed vast and immaculate eloquence. Therefore, for all the vast Indian texts such as sutras, tantras, or treatises that he had never seen before, he could remember all the words and meanings by reading them once or at most twice, and it is said that he obtained the Dharani of non-forgetfulness. It is said that from the beginning, he effortlessly mastered Sanskrit and many other subtle differences in languages, and possessed the unobstructed razor of wisdom in all fields of knowledge, both internal and external, and in all academic disciplines. Even for the Tibetan language itself, he could point out the subtle differences, saying, "This only applies to this meaning," surpassing others. For treatises on logic, treatises on the Vedas, meaningful verses, and poetry and clarity, he did not rely solely on the treatises of the staff-bearer, but was proficient in the meaning of many vast treatises that explain that knowledge. As a child, he liked to be with Acharyas and could communicate with them, so he could easily understand just by studying the works of Vibhuti. It is said that he even understood the language and order of sounds of animals. He also composed many commentaries and treatises on grammar, etc. Because the power of his wisdom is inconceivable, he generally had a deep intention to benefit all beings, especially those who have faith in the Dharma, Dharma practitioners, and especially those who have entered the Vajrayana and wish to practice secret mantra activities and attain siddhis. Therefore, he earnestly admonished them with unerring teachings and gave help. He possessed a part of clairvoyance and knew the time and occasion to tame sentient beings, so he could transform the minds of ordinary beings.
