It is said that I also developed a new reverence for the Nyingma Lama. As the time for activity arrived, countless beings to be tamed gathered. He performed great deeds for the benefit of beings. Because of his great respect for the Lama, he served him with the three ways of pleasing the teacher, and it is said that whenever he came out from the Lama's presence, he never walked without placing his head on the Lama's feet. With the extensive, intermediate, and concise golden rituals, etc., and led by seventeen extensive scriptures, he made countless offerings and material services. Due to the infusion of blessings, he received the Lama's intention as it was. Realization and liberation occurred simultaneously, and he was able to walk unhindered through all places of land, stone, mountains, and cliffs, and non-humans surrounded him. There are many stories of having clairvoyance. While residing in Dalu Monastery in Sangpu, his body merged into the wall, and he passed through the wall unhindered at Rakshasa Mountain, possessing many miracles. He traveled to all the lands and regions of this snowy mountain, leading many beings to the path of liberation. In the work of propagating the Dharma, he built supports for body, speech, and mind, repaired what was damaged, and provided materials for others to build, understanding how to practice the meaning of the six perfections. He served all the translators and pandits who came from India. Great spiritual friends who held the Tripitaka lifted his feet. He never put his mind on worldly affairs, but only practiced meditation. Because he became the benefactor of all poor and destitute beings, the lineage of the Great Vehicle was especially awakened. Therefore, all people of different languages, such as India, China, and Nepal, gathered together. He served the Vajra Throne of Magadha three times. He respectfully served the two Jowo statues, the only ornaments of Jambudvipa, four times. He served the Jowo Raks four times. Later, countless virtuous friends who promoted the activities appeared, and he was an undisputed great being in this snowy region. With such perfect activities, he benefited others directly and indirectly. While building the later stone wall of Lhasa, during the feast of passing away, some evil attendants fought over drinking, and sad words arose, and at the age of fifty-six, in the female sheep year, the monastery of Jargag Lok in Sangpu

After passing away, the body was placed in water and stayed at Gzad 'ug skad Monastery for four months. Then, at the request of the king, officials, and disciples, it was invited to Gzad thang skya'i gtsug lag khang, which was built for him, where a grand Dharma assembly was held, and miraculous signs such as lotus stalks growing from the offering water appeared. The next day, when the body was cremated, countless auspicious signs such as sounds, lights, rainbows, and stupa letters appeared. That temple now only remains as ruins. Zhig po had many disciples, but those who became heart-sons were: Rta lhon jo yes, Ma hA lhun po, Khas pa jo nam, Dbus 'jo bsod, bZang ston hor grags, gNyir ston bla ma ngang drug. Among them, the most important was Rta ston jo yes, whose father was named Rta ston jo 'bum, who was the lord of upper g.Yo ru, possessing many retinues and lands. He became weary of samsara and fled with four servants. Two heart-sons of Lha rje glan nya tsha ba came before the venerable Chu bo ri ba, and the five master and servants together entered the Dharma. He was well-versed in the teachings of the Nyingma school, especially the transmissions and oral instructions of Dzogchen. In the presence of Phag mo gru ba, he studied Lamdre and Mahamudra. From the upper Dbus-gTsang Lama Mtshar ston, he learned the Doha of the Mahamudra Gang lineage. From Zangs ri 'gro ras, he learned the Dharma cycles of Ras chung ba. From Nang ston mgon po, he learned Phowa and Vajrakilaya, etc. In short, he listened to non-sectarian teachings from many lamas, and regarded gNyos chu bo ri pa and Phag mo grub as his root gurus. He practiced in retreat at Chu bo ri, attracting many disciples. His son, Rta ston jo yer, was born in the Water Sheep year. Four years later, his younger brother Jo bsod was born. From a young age, he came to the presence of Zhig po and was cherished by him. When Jo yes was twelve years old, he received the teachings of Chakrasamvara and Vajrapani Amrita Drop from dMar ston. He performed a two-year retreat on the long mantra. Together with his father, he received one hundred and eight empowerments of Chakrasamvara. At Kha rag ston snying's place, he listened to the teachings on Mayajala for two years. From Lama rTsags and Se dur lung pa, he learned the transmissions and oral instructions of Dzogchen. At the age of sixteen, he gave a discourse on Vajrasattva Great Space (rDo rje sems dpa' nam mkha' che). After sixteen, he went to lower Ngam shod and visited Je tsun zhabs, a disciple of his father.
