Although I intended to do great things in this pure land, I thought that going to hell was a small matter, so I abandoned the unbearable task. I proclaimed everywhere to search for the incarnation of Manjushri. All the wise men agreed that, as the saying goes, no one is wiser than the one from Samye. So, I was convinced that he was the incarnation of Manjushri, and invited him to be the jewel on the crown. He uprooted the causes, conditions, and consequences of insubordination for all beings in whatever situation they were in. At that time, Tai Situ Jangchub Gyaltsen, who was arrogant and difficult to show to others in U-Tsang, was dissatisfied because he regarded him as a Drikungpa lama. However, with the immeasurable activities of great compassion, and the wonderful biographies of wise men and accomplished ones, he hung them in the ears of Buddha Shri, thereby subduing the king of Tibet, the eight-legged lion, in the Wood Mouse year (likely 1324), and his toenails were also well placed on his crown. Likewise, the chief of Uru Tok, Nasi Situ Shakya Zangpo, and Yarlung Tripön Dorje Gyaltsen, and many other great men also served him respectfully. Like that and so on, the things given by the faithful were also like the biography of Acharya Nagarjuna, and he did not waste even a little bit in the wrong place, but made supreme offerings to the Three Jewels. He did not consider the things that had been dedicated to the Dharma as his own, so he would never use them for other purposes. He often said that offerings should be made to the Three Jewels, not to sinners, so he did not offer cushions and respect to great men. He said that accumulating merit is the job of the patrons, not the reversed and confused offerings. No matter what is offered, it is expanded by dedication, not by asking for return. He was especially compassionate to the weak, and whatever the poor and humble offered, he would eat it like a delicious meal, and he would recite the sutras and dedicate them diligently. Such deeds are immeasurable, let alone those who have seen and followed them. Naturally, all who see, hear, know, and even harm, are connected to happiness, and having planted the seeds of liberation, he benefited many fortunate ones at the age of fifty-six in the Water Rabbit year.

At the time of bestowing the state of maturation and liberation, (Guru Rinpoche) told Prince Bhelwai Nyima to prepare paper and ink, and in the testament of stainless light, he wrote: "The nature of samsara has long been known, Because worldly dharmas have no essence. Now, abandoning the time of impermanent illusion, Listen to me as I speak of the one beneficial instruction." And so on, beginning with that. The compassionate protector, the face of Padma, From the day that breathing began, The fate of beings is like a traveler embarking on a journey, Death brings the joy of accomplishment, perfectly completed, Like a merchant who has accomplished his task in the ocean, Like a god who has completely triumphed in battle, Like the bliss of accomplished meditation, which is even more supreme. Now, not staying, the activity of Padma's karma, Will go to seize the stronghold of deathless great bliss." And so on, after teaching such a testament, Prince Bhelwai Nyima said, "Please do not say such things," and wept. (Guru Rinpoche) spoke many teachings on the impermanence of compounded phenomena. Later, he was invited back to Samye Monastery (founded around 775 AD), and while turning the wheel of Dharma, he passed through Gyama and Samye, and went to the auspicious forest of Chimphu. There, (Guru Rinpoche) realized that all phenomena are like illusions, and that birth and death are like entering an amusement park. These were all placed under the practice of this great being. He said, "This place is like the cool charnel ground of India. I prefer death here to birth elsewhere. I will leave this old illusory body here." Although he manifested illness, he still did not stop teaching the Dharma. The disciples felt tired and requested to temporarily stop the Dharma teachings. (Guru Rinpoche) said, "I intend to complete this Dharma." Then, on the sixteenth day of the royal month, he pleased the heroes and dakinis with vast offerings and tormas, and generally taught the disciples, "Because compounded phenomena have no essence, seek only the Dharma. In particular, focus on the practice of Trekchö and Tögal. If there are times when you do not understand, this 'Tik Yizhin Norbu' (Wish-Fulfilling Jewel of the Essence) is like the 'Samphel Norbu' (Wish-Granting Jewel), so observe carefully and meditate, and you will attain nirvana in the realm where the nature of phenomena is exhausted." Then, on the eighteenth day, (Guru Rinpoche) said, "Prepare an offering, and all of you engage in virtuous deeds." The disciples requested to stay by his side, (Guru Rinpoche) said, "Then my
