Having entered, all the affairs were managed by a single teacher, so the heretical couple were very pleased. When asked what he wanted, he replied that he wanted to hear the tenets, so he was included among the students. There were some secret vows that were not shown to others except for the son and ghee, and he was pleased with them and understood them, so he knew all the key points of the tenets. In the end, he mastered all the key points of refuting other views. The Brahmins were greedy for wealth, and if they were not paid, they would punish, so he gave the Brahmins his own salary of five hundred gold coins. He also obtained seven thousand gold peaks from the yaksha of that place, gave them to the youth Rola, and then fled that night. There, he erected a sign at the place where a king named Dumrisu was, proclaiming: Who wants to debate? Then about five hundred people holding the tenets of the six views gathered. After debating for three months, he raised the banner of complete victory over all. There, he ruled by the power of the king, and made everyone enter the Buddhist teachings. He also had about fifty wealthy people establish Buddhist monasteries. That news became a thorn in the heart of the Brahmin youth Rola. He himself came to debate with five hundred attendants, and said: If I win, make Dharmakirti's (ཆོས་ཀྱི་གྲགས་པ།) life the remainder of his name; if Dharmakirti wins, then it is up to him. When he declared this to the king, the teacher said: If my debate fails, whether to kill, beat, or imprison is up to the king. If I win, the youth Dova should not hide, but should enter the Buddhist teachings. So the debate began. The youth Rola had five hundred unique vows, and the teacher analyzed them with hundreds of methods of reasoning that refuted them. The youth Rola and his five hundred attendants abandoned the asceticism of being attached to ashes, the leader made offerings to the Buddhist teachings, and the attendants all became monks. Similarly, the best of debaters, Kanada, Doru, etc., and all those whose hairs stood on end who came to debate from within the piercing mountains, were also placed in a state of silence.

Then he went to a place called Srava Dali, where he also proclaimed debate to the heretical groups residing there. Since the heretical flower-eaters were unable to stand before the various logicians and King Miwo, they conferred like a lion among wild animals. Some clearly inclined to offer the flower of shame. There, all the previously decayed foundations of the Dharma were restored. While he was dwelling in meditation in the middle of the forest, a heretic named Samga Acharya of Nalanda sent sharp thorns of debating words, cutting the ears of the panditas. Therefore, they endeavored to invite the master Dharmakirti from the south and set a time for debate. Soon, King Rabsal gathered all the Brahmins and heretics to Varanasi, and they clearly inclined to engage in debate before Indra, including the king. The heretics said: Believers, do you worship the Ganges? Many joined the heretics. If you win, we will throw our lives into the Ganges. Having proclaimed this, they set up a great battlefield of debate. Samga's vows, promises, and the tenets to be proven were repeatedly weakened, cut off, and lowered by the sharp wisdom of Dharmakirti, through the great wheel of the four-limbed army of refutation, examination, refutation, and negation, so that they were placed in their respective territories without saying a word. At that time, Samga, greatly disturbed by the defeat, said to his disciple Bhata Acharya: Arouse the courage to win from this shaven-headed ascetic! Even if you don't win, it doesn't matter, we will be reborn as your son and fight again with the asceticism of debate. The master dissuaded him, but he did not listen, jumped into the Ganges River, and gave up his life. Many of his disciples who had previously been seized by pure seeds were able to enter the Buddhist tenets, one of whom was...
