In the definitive sense, he independently completed eight works of the Prakarana category, and made many commentaries on the words of the Buddha and treatises. He also went to remote border areas, and mostly resided in Magadha, establishing 108 foundations of Mahayana Dharma. Once, he went to the eastern Gaura region and preached the sutras to countless people, so the gods rained down golden flowers. Each devotee received about a large bag of golden flowers. He also established 108 foundations of Dharma in that place. The Brahmin Makshika of Audibisha invited him, and he held a feast for twelve thousand Mahayana monks for three months. As a result, the source of five jewels erupted in the Brahmin's house. The king and all others developed faith, and he established 108 foundations of Dharma there. It is said that if you add up all the Dharma foundations that he personally instructed to establish in many other places such as the south, it would be equal to what he established. Because of this, the total number of Mahayana monks in all places was about sixty thousand, so the teachings were very widespread. In short, wherever he resided, non-humans would make offerings to him, the source of jewels would erupt, he could clearly show the place of good and non-good with clairvoyance, he could pacify diseases and natural disasters by speaking the truth, and he possessed the power to control his lifespan through the power of mantras. Finally, he and a thousand monks who practiced with him, who were disciplined and learned, went to the Thal region. There, he also developed many foundations of Dharma and sangha. When he saw a person named Dalpo Haru, who, although wearing the clothes of a renunciate, had not taken vows and was plowing the fields in monastic robes, he was very saddened, thinking that the Buddha's teachings were declining. So he recited the Usnisavijaya Dharani backwards, and immediately passed away. It is said that this master and the Tibetan king Lha Thothori Nyantsen had the same level of realization. One of the four great pillars, the master Yontan Öd, after the profound aspect of the king became impermanent, a king named Shri Harsha appeared in the western Maru region, whose karma was very strong and ruled the western countries. At that time, the master Yontan Öd,

In Bochonglak, from the sprout of the Brahmin caste, the flower of youth blossomed. There, when he was well-versed in all branches of the Vedas and other disciplines of his caste, he renounced the world and took full ordination in the same monastery. He excelled in studying the Three Baskets and many Mahayana sutras from the great teacher Dignaga. He possessed the eye of wisdom regarding all the Vinaya texts and their commentaries of various schools. He constantly recited a hundred thousand sections of the Vinaya, and he was not friendly even with the slightest uncorrected offense among the five thousand monks who lived with him. If such a thing were to occur, he would immediately correct it and restore it to its original state. Just as the Arhats of the past protected the Dharma, the Agra Puri monastery in the region of Bochonglak was adorned as a sacred ornament. There, because the truth of pure morality was immeasurable, twelve thousand holders of heretical doctrines were temporarily placed in a great burning pit of fire by the powerful King Shri Harsha. The minister Matangagaraja, who had been beheaded and had his eyes gouged out, was also restored by the power of truth of this teacher's prayer. The mind of that king became softened, and although a vast assembly of enjoyments arrived every day, he abided by the twelve qualities of training: three for food, three for clothing, five for dwelling, and one for posture. Because he did not transgress the precepts well-established by the Teacher, he immediately and without hesitation developed the great virtuous city of Galava, and so forth, his qualities being difficult to measure. The author of the treatises that adorn the Jambudvipa, the eloquent lion, the elephant of direction: Although some say he was of the Kshatriya caste, here, following the Indian account, he was born into a Brahmin family in the southern city of Singhagabakta near the Kake region. He was well-versed in non-Buddhist doctrines and later renounced the world under the abbot Elephant-given (or Elephant-bestowed) of the Sravaka Sthavira Vatsiputra school. Some say he renounced the world under King Jita. He was skilled in all the Hinayana collections.
