In short, all scholars agreed that no one was more knowledgeable than the scholars of Samye, the pillar of Tibet. Therefore, people became convinced that he was an emanation of Manjushri, so they invited him and made him their supreme jewel. He fundamentally eradicated the causes, conditions, and results of all temporary and ultimate misdeeds of sentient beings. At that time, Tai Situ Changchub Gyaltsen, who was arrogant and difficult to show his hairstyle to others in U-Tsang, regarded him as a Drikung Kagyu lama and disagreed with him. However, through the activities of immeasurable great compassion and the excellent biographies of scholars and accomplished ones, like earrings hanging on Buddha Shri's ears, he reconciled the situation and even placed his toenails on the head of the king of Tibet, the eight-legged lion, in the Wood-Door year (presumably a Tibetan calendar year, the specific year needs further verification). Similarly, Na Situ Shakya Zangpo, the leader of Uru, and Dorje Gyaltsen, the leader of Yarlung, and many other great figures also served him. Regarding the offerings given by these and other faithful people, he followed the biography of Nagarjuna, not wasting even a little on inappropriate things, but offering them to the Three Jewels with utmost respect. He considered that anything that had been dedicated for religious purposes did not belong to him, so he would never divert it to other uses. He said, "Offerings should be for the Three Jewels, not for sinners." Therefore, he did not provide seats or preferential treatment to great figures. He said, "Accumulating merit is the business of the patrons, not reversing the relationship of offering and patronage." After that, no matter how generous the offering, it should be increased through dedication, not for repayment. He was particularly compassionate to the weak and vulnerable, and whatever the poor offered, he enjoyed it like a delicious meal, and he diligently recited sutras and dedications. His deeds were immeasurable, let alone those who were fortunate enough to see and follow him. Naturally, all who saw, heard, knew, and harmed him were connected to the place of bliss and planted the seeds of liberation. In the Water Rabbit year (specific year needs further verification) at the age of fifty-six, in order to bestow the fruit of maturation and liberation on many fortunate ones, he once said to Gyalse Zopa, "Bring some ink and paper." Then he wrote the will of stainless light: "The nature of samsara has long been known, the world..."

Because things have no essence, now abandon the time of impermanent illusion, listen to the teachings that are uniquely beneficial. Beginning with these and other words, the compassionate protector Padmasambhava, the breath exhaled from his mouth, from now on, the opportunity for sentient beings is like a traveler embarking on a journey, the joyful harvest brought by death has been perfectly accomplished, like a merchant who has perfectly accomplished his task in the ocean, like a deity who has completely triumphed on the battlefield, like the happiness of achieving meditative concentration is even more supreme. Now I will not stay, the essence of Padmasambhava's activities, I will go to seize the stronghold of immortal great bliss. With these and other testamentary teachings, the prince Endurance said, please do not say such things, and shed tears. He spoke many teachings based on the destruction of compounded things. Afterwards, he was invited back to Samye Monastery, and while turning the wheel of Dharma, he passed through Gyama and Samye Monastery, and arrived at the auspicious forest of Chimpu (Mchims phu). All the Dharma there is like an illusion, realizing it like being born in a nursery. These were brought into practice by the great being, this place is like the cool charnel ground of India. Compared to being born in other places, dying here is more joyful. My illusory old body will be left here. After saying this, he manifested the appearance of illness, but still did not stop teaching the Dharma. Feeling tired there, he requested to temporarily stop teaching the Dharma, he said he wanted to perfect this Dharma. Afterwards, on the sixteenth day of the eighth month of the Tibetan calendar, he satisfied the heroes and dakinis with grand offerings of tormas, and generally taught the disciples that because all compounded things have no essence, they should only pursue the Dharma. In particular, they should focus on the practice of Trekchö and Tögal. If you encounter places you do not understand, this wish-fulfilling jewel is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, observe carefully and practice, and you will attain Nirvana in the place where the nature of Dharma is exhausted. Afterwards, on the eighteenth day, prepare an offering, and all of you go to practice virtue. He was asked to stay by his side, and he said, then I am going to abandon this illusory old body, you must especially remain in a state of equanimity. He placed the precious remains in the posture of the Dharmakaya, and his mind merged into the primordial Dharmadhatu.
