Scholars say that due to the force of time, it is uncertain whether the name is even known in that way now. Furthermore, there are five hundred who hold special views and support thousands of heretics, engaging in great battles and reconciling through miraculous powers, and some enumerate seven wonderful deeds. The way his thoughts and actions surpassed others. The Pandit Puticandra said, "For the Victor's teachings, he is a great master, and although many people have appeared, one cannot find someone who acts like a god of peace, possessing experience and thought." Just as he said. He became the jewel in the crown of all who are skilled in reasoning, and one of the six ornaments that beautify Jambudvipa. The great teacher Palden Chokyi Drakpa, the commentator of scriptures, is said to have been born into a Brahmin family during the reign of King Singha V in the city of Kanchinagar near the southern ocean, or in the place of Tirumalaya, which is famous both internally and externally, or in the place called "Royal Crest Jewel" in front of scholars. From a young age, he was very intelligent, and due to the influence of his caste's religion and his father, the heretic Kunturu Ronyananta, he became proficient in all the tenets of the heretics. At that time, the Brahmins especially praised him. He led some of the tenets that spoke the truth astray, and realizing that his own teacher had faults and that the scriptures deviated from the path of liberation, he ascended to the status of a layperson on the chariot of faith. When the Brahmins asked the reason, he told them the praiseworthy things, and was therefore expelled from their dwellings. There, in the central region, he became a monk under the teacher Chodrak and became proficient in the three pitakas. He could recite five hundred sutras and dharani mantras. He listened to many treatises on logic, but was not satisfied. After listening to the Collected Works of Pramana once from the disciple of Victorious Elephant, Wangchuk De, he was equal to the teacher, and after listening twice, he became equal to Victorious Elephant.

I, the Third Tsewang Chukje, also repeated the errors that arose from not understanding Dignāga's views, just like reciting them. The teacher was very pleased and said, "You are just like Dignāga!" He refuted all the wrong tenets and was also granted permission to write a commentary on the Compendium on Valid Cognition. Although the tantric teacher had different intentions, he considered Ḍe-gi-pa suitable, so he received the empowerment perfectly from him. By practicing the higher deity, Heruka personally appeared and asked what he wanted. He replied, "I wish to completely conquer all directions!" After saying that, he disappeared with laughter. After that, he continuously offered praises. After a while, in order to completely defeat all the heretics, he wanted to learn the secret doctrines of other sects. So, he disguised himself as a servant and traveled to all parts of the south. When he inquired who was most proficient in heretical sects, people said, "It is the unparalleled Youthful Player." Earlier Dharma histories consider this to be his uncle and say that he does not accept young women, etc., and it is said that his commands were not strict. This heretic and the two followers who served Maheśvara, etc., argued with Sanghabhadra, Lekden, and many disciples of Dignāga, belittled them, and seized different territories and possessions, so there is such a story. At that time, the Youthful Player possessed abundant rice fields directly obtained from the king, as well as herds of cows and buffaloes, five hundred male and female servants each, and attendants who lived on yogurt. Therefore, he went there to serve as a servant, and the teacher alone took on all these tasks, which made the heretical couple very happy. When asked what he wanted, he said, "I want to listen to the doctrines of the sect." So he was included among the disciples. There were some secret doctrines that were only taught to sons and maids, and he pleased those people and understood those doctrines. Therefore, he knew all the key points of the sect. Finally, he mastered all the key points of refuting other views. The Brahmins were greedy for wealth and would punish if they were not paid, so he gave the Brahmins a salary of five hundred panas. He also obtained seven thousand gold peaks from the yakshas of that place and gave them to the Youthful Player, and that night he fled.
