地神啊！未来当众生的寿命达到百岁的时候，名为释迦牟尼的如来、应供、正等觉将会出现，他的声闻弟子们会舍弃自己的广大亲友而出家。如此出家后，他们会对寺庙产生家的感觉。之后，他们会完全依赖吝啬，并且多次这样做，导致身体毁坏，死后堕入恶趣和恶道中，这是它的预兆。大国王啊！你在梦中看到水井在不修行的人们后面，这是什么预兆呢？他的声闻弟子们不愿听婆罗门和居士们讲法，并且会安住于此，这是它的预兆。大国王啊！你在梦中看到用一簸箕的沙子换一簸箕的珍珠，这是什么预兆呢？他的声闻弟子们为了散乱，会如实地阐明根、力、菩提分等珍宝，这是它的预兆。大国王啊！你在梦中看到檀香木被当作普通木材出售，这是什么预兆呢？他的声闻弟子们将会出现不修身、不修戒、不修心、不修慧的人，由于不修身、不修戒、不修心、不修慧，他们会执持外道的教义，并且使其与佛陀的教言相等，这是它的预兆。大国王啊！你在梦中看到未经允许就拿走寺院中盛开的鲜花和丰硕的果实，这是什么预兆呢？他的声闻弟子们会依赖在家众，为了生活而出售和占有僧团的鲜花和果实，因此会出现修行者，这是它的预兆。大国王啊！你在梦中看到小象吓跑了大象，这是什么预兆呢？他的声闻弟子们会出现破戒且具有罪恶之法的人，他们会使那些具有戒律的比丘感到害怕。

Earth goddess! In the future, when the lifespan of beings reaches one hundred years, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One named Shakyamuni will appear, and his Shravaka disciples will renounce their vast kin and friends and go forth. Having gone forth in this way, they will develop a sense of home towards the monasteries. Thereafter, they will rely entirely on miserliness and do so repeatedly, causing their bodies to decay, and after death, they will fall and be born in the evil realms and evil paths, this is its omen. Great King! What is the omen of seeing in a dream that wells are behind those who do not meditate? His Shravaka disciples will not want to listen to the Dharma taught to Brahmins and householders, and they will abide in this, this is its omen. Great King! What is the omen of seeing in a dream exchanging a basket of sand for a basket of pearls? His Shravaka disciples, for the sake of distraction, will clearly explain the jewels of faculties, powers, and limbs of enlightenment, etc., this is its omen. Great King! What is the omen of seeing in a dream sandalwood being sold as ordinary wood? His Shravaka disciples will appear without cultivating the body, without cultivating morality, without cultivating the mind, and without cultivating wisdom. Because of not cultivating the body, not cultivating morality, not cultivating the mind, and not cultivating wisdom, they will hold the doctrines of the heretics and make them equal to the Buddha's teachings, this is its omen. Great King! What is the omen of seeing in a dream taking away the abundant flowers and fruits of the monastery without permission? His Shravaka disciples will rely on householders, and for the sake of livelihood, they will sell and possess the flowers and fruits of the Sangha, therefore meditators will appear, this is its omen. Great King! What is the omen of seeing in a dream a small elephant scaring a large elephant? His Shravaka disciples will appear with broken vows and possessing sinful dharmas, they will make those Bhikshus who possess morality afraid.

具有功德。它驱逐那些善良的树木，使其在其他地方生长。那是它的预兆。大国王，你梦见猴子被不洁之物玷污后涂抹在其他人身上，这是什么预兆呢？那里的声闻乘的恶行者、戒律败坏者，将会对持戒、具有功德的比丘，以及善良的法者施加不真实的指责。那是它的预兆。大国王，你梦见猴子被任命为国王，这是什么预兆呢？那时，阴阳人也会成为国王。那是它的预兆。大国王，你梦见一块布被十八个人分割，而布仍然保持原样，这是什么预兆呢？当教法分裂成十八个部分时，解脱的布不会破裂。那是它的预兆。大国王，你梦见许多普通民众聚集在一起，说恶语，进行惩罚和伤害，这是什么预兆呢？教法将存在一千年，但会被恶语和惩罚所摧毁。听到这些话，心中更加悲痛，对如来教法的珍稀性产生了更强烈的认识。无论何处佛法之光微弱，无论何处佛法之种类稀少，那些掌握教法重任，拥有领土和巨大财富的人，难道不应该有所作为吗？我们力量弱小，不适合将内心的重担托付给我们，这种沮丧感更加强烈。因此，即使是智慧和勇气微弱的人，也写下了无法磨灭的誓言，开始了这项工作。关于时间的确定，如果我们按照觉窝·底旁噶拉（阿底峡尊者）的说法，我们的导师是在木牛年生辰，那么俄·洛钦·衮却坚赞（འགོས་ལོག་ཞོན་ནུས་）将上隆巴·觉窝·楚臣（སྟོད་ལུང་པ་ཇོ་བོ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་）的观点作为依据。而克什米尔的班智达释迦室利（Śākyaśrī）等许多来自克什米尔的人则认为是在火蛇年生辰。这是声闻乘信度派的导师的逝世年份。

Possessing virtues. It drives away those virtuous trees, causing them to grow elsewhere. That is its omen. Great King, what is the omen of your dream of a monkey defiled by impurity being smeared on others? The Śrāvakayāna's evildoers, those with broken vows, will falsely accuse monks who are virtuous and possess qualities, and those who are virtuous in Dharma. That is its omen. Great King, what is the omen of your dream of a monkey being appointed as king? At that time, hermaphrodites will also become kings. That is its omen. Great King, what is the omen of your dream of a single cloth being divided by eighteen people, yet the cloth remains the same? When the teachings are divided into eighteen parts, the cloth of liberation will not be torn. That is its omen. Great King, what is the omen of your dream of a large gathering of ordinary people speaking evil words, inflicting punishment and harm? The teachings will last for a thousand years, but will be destroyed by evil speech and punishment. Hearing these words, the heart felt even greater sorrow, and a stronger awareness of the rarity of the Tathāgata's teachings arose. Wherever the light of Dharma is weak, wherever the kinds of Dharma are scarce, shouldn't those who hold the burden of the teachings, who have dominion and great wealth, do something? We are weak, and it is not appropriate to entrust the burden of our hearts to us, this discouragement is even stronger. Therefore, even those with weak wisdom and courage have written an indelible vow and begun this work. Regarding the determination of time, if we follow the tradition of Jowo Dīpaṃkara (Atiśa) that our teacher was born in the Wood Ox year, then Gö Lochen Könchok Gyaltsen (འགོས་ལོག་ཞོན་ནུས་) takes the view of Tölungpa Jowo Tsultrim (སྟོད་ལུང་པ་ཇོ་བོ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་) as the basis. And many Kashmiris such as the Kashmiri Paṇḍita Śākyaśrī believe that he was born in the Fire Snake year. This is the year of the death of the teacher of the Śrāvakayāna Sindhupa.
