He received many prophecies, such as "One will come." Every year, he learned writing and reading from his father. He studied sound, grammar, weaponry, the five sciences, the great Vibhajyavāda, and thirteen treatises on sound, including "Nourishing Beings," ten treatises on food, black calculation, medicine, oral teachings and treasures, the seven royal histories, and one hundred and four treatises on song and dance, including the Great Chronicle of the Lde Lineage. He studied seventy-five great treatises of the past, countless ritual texts, many vital points of inner and outer secret mantras, and the Vajrakila cycle. At the age of ten, he listened to and practiced the six practices of the new Vajrapani tradition, and as a result, the water in the vase boiled. He completed the recitation practices of Yama's Destroyer and Vajrakila. At the age of eleven, he perfected all the empowerments, transmissions, and instructions of illusion. At the age of twelve, he mastered the five Dakinis, one hundred methods of accomplishment, and so on, and practiced the Hundred Syllable Mantra. At the age of thirteen, he listened to and practiced many new and old practices, such as Yangdak and Maheśvara, the two Great Compassion practices, and Hayagriva. At the age of thirteen, in a visionary experience, Jomo Drolma led him to the top of a crystal palace, where he met Vajrasattva. Then, a four-faced Dakini, from her white face in front, said, "You will hold the Buddha's teachings." From her yellow face on the right, she said, "You will propagate the Dharma." From her red face in the back, she said, "You will elevate the Sangha's status." From her blue face on the left, she said, "You will subdue the difficult-to-tame evil times." After saying this, she handed him a white arrow with five feathers. At the age of fourteen, at Tise Dro Gyang Sarpa (Mount Kailash), he listened to great treatises such as Pramana, Abhidharmasamuccaya, Bodhicaryavatara, Hevajra, and instructions such as Mahamudra, Dzogchen, the Six Dharmas of Pacification. From Makorwa, he listened to Lesser Madhyamaka, and from Tsurton and his son, he listened to the Dzogchen teachings, and so on, the explanation and practice of new and old Sutras and Tantras. From his father, he listened to the Pacification practice, Mahamudra, Dzogchen, Chöd, the introduction to the instructions, and all the fierce mantras of the Dharma protectors, and integrated them into his practice. At the age of seventeen, he met the Lord of Beings, and became the owner of the immeasurable treasure teachings of Nyang Rinpoche Nyima Özer. At the age of eighteen, he generated Bodhicitta at Gangpo, the residence of Sakya Pandita, held a Dharma gathering at Gyangsar, and consecrated the stupa at Lhalung Monastery.

Oh! That night in a dream, I went to China's Mount Wutai to search for the Udumbara flower. On top of a blue lotus, the noble Manjushri said: Jñānakāya Dharmātu. (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) I am the Lord of Dharma. I am your mind's thought. Mind's thought is the inconceivable Dharma gate. The meaning of the inconceivable Dharma gate is the self-born wisdom thigle, the only one. The meaning of the eighty-four thousand Dharma gates has already been explained to you; contemplate its meaning! As soon as he said this, I woke up from the dream and gained the definite understanding of having attained all the Dharmas. The place was Gra. Because he was extremely knowledgeable in Abhidharma, he was known as Grawa Ngönshé (the monk who is knowledgeable in Abhidharma). This great holder of the scriptures, the treasure revealer, the lord of yoga, obtained the catalog that had been passed down in succession from Samye Monastery when he was thirteen years old. During that time, many foolish and greedy people tried to extract this catalog, some died, and some were struck by hailstorms. If this catalog was kept inside, it could not be suppressed by illusions. Even if it was discarded at intersections, crossroads, in the middle of water, underground, and so on, it would not be destroyed by natural disasters. Because it could not be grasped, it was named the "Lost Yellow Paper." The father said, "What is the use of this yellow paper that loses everything? Are you buying death?" After saying this, he snatched it away and hid it elsewhere. Later, at the age of twenty-two, he stole it again and went with a realized Chöpa practitioner. Relying on it, he took another prophecy from the Sky Ladder. Gradually, he gained control over the eighteen great treasures represented by the Guru, Deva, and Dakini. Those treasures were also extracted in front of fortunate beings accompanied by scenes of great miracles, and mostly by swearing oaths to the treasure lords. Others were extracted without dispute by employing those who had karma and fortune. When the father found out, he said, "You say you have extracted treasures, what exactly have you extracted?" He handed him a copper box and said, "Read the catalog." After reading it, he said, "Read the Buddha Samyoga Tantra, or read that one." Starting from the beginning of the tantra, he read, and the father said, "Enough, enough, I sewed you a short coat before. Even if you add it to the lawsuit later, you won't be able to play with words. Now, what rise and fall will this treasure bring?"
