Mentally analyzing and, in the stage of a beginner, keeping the attachment to the view focused on through hearing and thinking as it is. Measuring the inconceivable nature of reality with sharp reasoning of analysis, and even when abiding in equanimity without adding anything to the mind, arising again from the nature of reality in a way that focuses on the characteristic of freedom from elaboration. And thinking that the nature of the view is just like this, discriminating that and that with an attachment that is not separate from the eight consciousnesses, this is said to be a root downfall. As it is said: 'Discriminating that and that emptiness.' Twelfth, not teaching the Dharma to a disciple who is suitable as a vessel for mantra, or who possesses the three faiths and has a desire for Dharma; causing others to be disgusted with evil intentions, and turning their aspirations to the wrong path. To a disciple who is suitable as a vessel for mantra, that is, who is qualified to receive the guru's instructions, or even if not, but is naturally upright, and possesses the three faiths of intention, confidence, and trust, not giving the Dharma according to their respective capacities and inclinations, but rejecting them. Although having the ability to accomplish their benefit, not doing so with evil intentions, and with the intention of diverting their aspirations from the path they believe in, causing their minds to be disgusted, and through deception and illegal thoughts and actions, diverting their original intention to practice Dharma as it should be to a wrong path, leading them to the wrong path. As Shantideva said: 'Rejecting sentient beings with faith.' Thirteenth, viewing the substances of purification as self-nature, thereby abandoning some and craving others; failing to incorporate the conduct of mantra into practice as it is, and wandering in two extremes. There are two situations: becoming a root downfall of Anuttarayoga, and the way of becoming a root downfall of yoga and common. The first situation is that, because behavior is related to time, when accepting the substances of purification, that is, the five meats, the five ambrosias, meat wine and other foods, and the mandala offering of the nature of desirable qualities such as dance, song, music, and consort, or the symbols of the time of feasts of heroes and heroines, etc., when there is no special prohibition and there is ability, also viewing them as self-nature, thereby being unable to accept with faith, or for the five meats, the five ambrosias, etc., viewing as self-nature.

Being tormented by conceptual thoughts and unable to accept, yet indulging in desires such as meat and alcohol, or suppressing the mind with the discipline of the Shravakas, harboring doubts. In short, like dragons and Brahmins, being bound by the dualistic grasping of purity and impurity, or like dogs and pigs, acting in a mad manner, without falling into these two extremes, but accepting with the realization of the equality of Dharma, as it is said in the Amrita Source: "Purity and impurity are both conceptual thoughts. The wise do not dwell even in the middle." Like this. The second is the Vajra bell and other mudras, because they do not understand their true meaning, they laugh at them without any respect or certainty. For example, the bell represents the nature of the five Tathagatas, and is the object of the vow that combines skillful means and wisdom. If it is not treated with respect and is despised and discarded, or if it is shaken with a pure mind without obscurations, then it will become a fault, just like "a mindless yogi, like an elephant shaking a bell." Similarly, for mudras and so on, if one only sees the surface of the hand gestures, one slanders and laughs at them in the crowd, as it is said in the Great Commentary of the Glorious Supreme One: "Because of lack of faith, they laugh," which is considered an act of breaking the vow. The fourteenth, Yoginis and others transcend the world, Matrikas and Dakinis and others hold vows, observe the nature of the five elements, and slander women who are the basis of power. If interpreted broadly, slandering those who manifest the form of wisdom Dakinis such as the Stimulating Mother, Ekajati, and Vajravarahi, is a root downfall of both Yoga and Anuttarayoga. In general, the names of Matrikas and Dakinis are not limited to the boundary of transcendence or non-transcendence, but the names of Vajravarahi and Yogini are classified as transcendent, directly indicating that even if they dwell in the land of the noble ones, they still have worldly characteristics such as the worldly supreme and other characteristics of samsara. For example, it is said in the twenty-second chapter of the Blazing Fire: "This Dakini goddess, the Black Woman, বহু劫之前, has seen the faces of the Buddhas of the three times, and manifests in this inferior क्षेत्र."
