The path of the ground. That itself is the path of familiarizing practice. Kuntuzangpo Heruka. The path of seeing maturity in the mind. The path of meditating with extreme stability. The path of the ultimate completion of the indivisibility of space and wisdom. Like that, it is also through the connection of the three, generation stage, recitation, and samadhi, that siddhis are attained. The root of that is also because it arises from the self-liberation and transformation of the minds, thoughts, and conceptual consciousnesses of sentient beings. Therefore, at first, all dharmas abide in the gate of letters, and the manner of learning gradually. The old secret school says: The nature of mind is the nature of letters. Letters are like wish-fulfilling jewel clouds. Also, the Magical Net of Manjushri says: Ah is the best of all letters. The great meaning of letters is extremely supreme. It arises from within, without birth. Also, the Mother of the Buddhas says: A is called unborn, therefore it is the gate of all dharmas. Like that, the spontaneously accomplished letters, the clear light mind-essence, the letters of the body's abiding channels, the vowels and consonants, the seed syllables of the deities, the letters of sound, meaning, and symbols, the general sound and general meaning of designations, and those written as images, such as the Lantsa and Nagara scripts of the East and West of India, and the life-force of the deities represented by the Tibetan script, and the rosary of mantras, etc., first focus on them and make them stable, then become familiar with them and the mudras. After that is stable, the single form. Then the ornaments and mudras. Then the mother. Then the retinue of deities, mandala, and palace. After that, entering into the radiating and gathering of light is the samadhi of the first mandala. After completing the three accumulations and paths, one attains the divine eye and subtle clairvoyance. One attains the samadhi of the stream of the Buddhas' Dharma. One sees the face of the Buddha's nirmanakaya. Then, on the four immeasurable gates and the five extremely high pillars in the center, the mandala is expanded. In the pure chamber of the central channel, one contemplates the complete mandala of the King of Forms, etc. Also, by alternately contemplating the peaceful and wrathful deities, one gains stability, and therefore one attains the heat of the path of joining. Likewise, in the horse stable room of the east gate, one contemplates Akshobhya, therefore one attains the peak. In the room of the west gate, one contemplates Amitabha, therefore one attains patience. Likewise, in the south, Ratnasambhava attains the supreme Dharma. In the north, Amoghasiddhi attains the path of seeing, and then attains hundreds of thousands of qualities.

And, to see the faces of a hundred Buddhas in an instant, and so on. Having completed the meditation of twelve thousand such mandalas, one attains the second Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of twelve hundred thousand, one attains the third Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of one hundred million, one attains the fourth Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of one billion, one attains the fifth Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of one hundred billion, one attains the sixth Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of countless billions, one attains the seventh Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of the extremely vast, one attains the eighth Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of the immeasurable, one attains the ninth Bhumi. Having completed the meditation of the countless, inconceivable, and spontaneously accomplished mandalas, one attains the tenth Bhumi. At the end of that, Vajradhara Samantabhadra Heruka and others, with the empowerment of great light rays, in the instant of traversing the eleventh Bhumi, also attain the authority of the special Bhumis of the mantra path, and are called the Great Vajradhara. Furthermore, if one considers progressing through the five paths in connection with the four Vidyadharas, the view of the All-Knowing Great One is that those who have gained stability in the generation stage, and whose mind-nature has matured into a deity, but who have not been able to purify the impurities of the elements through the practice of proximate causes, are called the Vidyadhara of Maturation, dwelling on the paths of accumulation and junction. If they abandon the body of maturation without attaining the peak of Dharma on the path of junction, they will obtain the Mahamudra in the Bardo without needing to take rebirth in a later existence. Because the mind has matured into the illusory empty form of the deity, as soon as they abandon the body of maturation, they will attain the path of seeing of a Bodhisattva. If one attains the peak of Dharma with that basis, then one is said to have accomplished the holy Vidyadhara who controls life, and that very body also transforms into a diamond-like body of essence, and the mind also attains the path of seeing. In such a way, if one continues with that basis for sixteen years, then one will manifest the spontaneously accomplished Vidyadhara and pass into Nirvana in this very life. As it says in the Stages of the Path: 'Having perfected the meaning of seeing and entering, through the accomplishment of accumulating and using, the elements of the body, the place of birth, and the outflows are exhausted, transformed into a diamond body, the lineage of life, in this very life one passes into Nirvana, without abandoning this body, one attains the state of the Victorious Ones.' So it is. Furthermore, in some Tantric texts it says that in one lifetime and one body, one can pass into Nirvana by traversing the path of the Dakinis, or in seven lifetimes, or at the latest in sixteen.
