Holding them separately. Due to the power of being accustomed to conceptual thoughts, all sorts of elaborations arise, yet the essence itself is not diminished by even a particle. Thus it is. In this way, by becoming familiar with the way the essence of the basis, the entity, abides, and thereby establishing the view, this is called the samadhi of suchness. From the aspect of its nature, it is wisdom, but because it appears like meditative stabilization on the path of examining through faith, the term samadhi is applied. As it is said in the All-Creating King Tantra: "That is the nature of being unmistaken, The nature is the essence of being unconditioned, The essence is what is designated as the very nature." Thus it is. If one realizes that state as it is, just as it sounds, it is the noble one's seeing of the truth, and therefore, from the first ground, the mind of pure higher intention arises spontaneously. Therefore, there is no great need for the generation stage. As it says in the Fifty Verses on the Vajra Dakini: "When the real union is realized, Artificial things should not be done. For example, having grasped a boat, One goes to the other side of the water. Having gone to the other side, one abandons it, Artificial things are also like that." Thus it is. Nevertheless, for those who are beginners, the generation stage is the cause for accomplishing the completion stage, so the reason for praising the generation stage is: From the Two Examinations: "Through the yoga of the generation stage, The ascetic meditates on elaboration. If one meditates on elaboration as a dream, Then elaboration itself makes non-elaboration." Thus it is. Moreover, the basis of generation, that wisdom of suchness, is only an inference on the level of ordinary beings, so all phenomena are images of the unthinkable suchness, appearing as a samadhi. The radiance of that suchness rises as great compassion, and the mind of examining through faith is designated as the samadhi of all-pervading appearance. By the power of that, accomplishing the accumulation of causes for the generation stage is the unmistaken path of means. If one can understand this tenet, one should also recognize that it comes from my instructions. Therefore, even though the clear appearance of the union of emptiness and great compassion arises as the marks and signs of the deity, from the very moment of appearance, the nature of appearance and emptiness, which is not established by its own nature, is like a flower and its scent, connected to skillful means and wisdom. This is the unmistaken meaning of the union of the generation and completion stages. As it says in the Two Examinations: "The generation stage itself and the completion stage"

Thus it is. Thus, abiding equally in the two stages, the Dharma of the Vajra Holder will be taught. Thus, here, the cause for obtaining the two forms of the dependent Rupakaya is the generation stage. The dependent mind, obtaining the wisdom of that very nature, is increased by the action of the completion stage. In the previous manner, the Bhagavan declared: Ema, great Bodhisattva, greatly weakened by the power of faith, how can the insubstantiality of the body be happy? It is impossible to speak of happiness. In the manner of pervading and pervaded, happiness pervades sentient beings. Like the fragrance residing in a flower, one cannot know the insubstantiality of the flower. Likewise, with the insubstantiality of form and so on, even happiness cannot be perceived. Thus it is. The generation stage with characteristics that contradicts that, is also present in the types of heretics and demons. In general, heretics have immeasurable virtues, but because their continuum is not bound by vows, there is only intermittent virtue. Likewise, generation stages and so on that do not possess the vows of vidyadharas cannot attain enlightenment even through the means of secret mantras. In particular, not knowing the dependent arising of the basis to be purified and the means of purification of each generation stage, and in all aspects, the generation stage that constantly looks at the appearance of the path, which is separated from wisdom, only the color and shape of the appearing side, is also present in heretics and powerful yakshas. From the accomplishments of the secret mantras of heretics, and on the body basis of the happy goers, the habit of practicing the generation stage in their own continuum, in short, from the increased transformations of demons, it can also be known. The fruit of accomplishment in accordance with the method, in the mantra, on the path of seeing of the Bodhisattva, the supreme accomplishment of the great mudra, is the method of manifesting what is extremely famous. The appearing aspect is clear as the deity's body, it is the accumulation of merit. On that, the wisdom without inherent existence, the sharp-witted ones who rely on the two accumulations as the proximate cause, the four vidyadharas connected to the five paths, from that ladder, possessing the five certainties, etc., in the field of the five bodies, they go like an illusion of the eye. That is also, there are two types of individuals in the Mahayana, so the means or path is also taught as two types. For individuals who do not crave desirable qualities, the Bodhisattva's
