Through the three kinds of faith established by the three, one should understand the meaning of the tantra, as it is said in the Kalachakra: First, one should have faith in the lama. After that, one should have faith in oneself. After that, one should have faith in the king of tantras. Thus, through the three kinds of faith, one will fully realize the meaning of the tantra. So it is said. Moreover, regarding the tenets of the mantra's own tradition, one must first correctly understand the view of realization, which is the suchness of the causal continuum and the way things are, without any deviation. As the feet of the Victorious One (Buddha) said: In this regard, it is essential to first understand the way things are. Although there are many forms according to the power of the vehicle, the definitive essence is the indivisible truth, which is the new treasury of all the Buddhas. So it is said. Understanding this cannot be determined merely by seemingly logical reasoning and arguments, so one should seek a qualified lama and trust him from the depths of one's heart, regarding him as a Buddha. By the hook of devotion, one should control the lama's wisdom, which is extremely non-conceptual, and not have doubts about the nature of reality that one directly sees, which is called having faith in oneself. As it is said in the Two Examinations: Not spoken by others, co-emergent, nowhere to be found, it is known through the lama's skillful means and one's own mind. So it is said. At that time, because one truly realizes the way things abide, which is not merely a conceptual understanding, one realizes that all phenomena are without arising or ceasing in the ultimate truth, and that they do not cease merely as illusion in the conventional truth, and that they are in accordance with the Prajnaparamita and mere conventions. Therefore, on the path of words, there is no second acceptance of the views of Sutra and Tantra. But in the path of mantra, all aspects of the conventional are self-arisen as the play of completely pure deities. The two truths are also simultaneously integrated into the great perfection of self-arisen nature. Since there is no before or after, the differences between the objects of mind that are measured and analyzed by conceptual thought as sequential and non-sequential cannot be reintegrated. When one knows this difference, one will see that the way of abiding of the view, the Great Seal, also abides in the meaning of the tantra as explained like a key instruction, and thus a special faith will arise.

It is said, it is equality, it is the Great Seal. That is, the impurity of the basic nature, which is temporarily grasped as self, is purified by means of the two stages of maturation and liberation of the path. The first point has already been discussed. The meaning of the second point is that the object to be purified, the mistaken nature, is the adventitious conceptualization. In relation to the seed aspect of it, the two stages of generation and completion are taught as the means of purification. As the Later Heart Essence Tantra says, "The union of the forms of the deities, the stages of the moon, vajra, etc., are called the generation stage. The yoga of self-accomplishment is called the completion stage." In accordance with this, the teacher Aryadeva also said, "Abiding in the generation stage, for those who desire the completion stage, this means is taught by the perfect Buddha, like a series of steps." Thus, if we consider the object to be purified, the generation stage and the completion stage are different. First, the necessity of the generation stage is that in the ordinary state, due to conceptualization, the appearance of the defiled Tathagatagarbha is grasped as ordinary, and the container and contents that are suddenly created are purified by the artificial generation stage. By the way, it will also prevent falling into nihilistic emptiness. From the point of view of the path, it is to go through the seven impure grounds and arrange the interdependent causes of the form body of the result. As the Vajra Dakini Tantra says, "Any activity such as the mandala, which is performed with an artificial mind, can clarify external activities, therefore praise the first practitioners." It is also like the basis for the arising of the completion stage. Second, the necessity of the completion stage is that in the path of the noble ones, it is called the direct perception of the deity yoga, which is free from artificiality, that is, the melting bliss coemergent deity body that does not abide in the form of having a face and limbs, which relies on the nature of aggregation. As the Compendium of Origins says, "All the channels are, the body becomes virtuous, from the gathering of them, truly arises, that is, the deity body of emptiness, transcending form and becoming an aggregation." Thus, it can purify the impurity of the habitual tendencies of the object to be purified. From the point of view of the path, it is to go through the three pure grounds and accomplish the coemergent great bliss body and the supreme accomplishment of the result. In this way, the generation stage and the completion stage each target the object to be purified.
