Thus it is known. Therefore, mixing tantras is the speech of the Buddha, so there is no sectarian bias here. Mixing treatises is definitely the doctrine of individuals, so it is not a mistake. From the perspective of the method of pure union, according to the outer mantra practitioners, the shape and color of the vase, the decorations and necklaces, the conch shell filled with fragrant water, the offering water adorned with white flowers, and the amulet with vajra and flower garlands, etc., all external phenomena represent the Emanation Body. Filling it with the twenty-five essences completes the accumulation of merit for sentient beings, increasing their enjoyment, which symbolizes the Enjoyment Body. The cool essence within the vase pacifies the heat of afflictions, symbolizing the Peaceful Dharma Body. Meditating on the deity is the Essence Body, symbolizing the four bodies. Therefore, all the qualities of enlightenment are naturally complete. According to the inner mantra practitioners, in the mandala ritual of joint union, it says: 'The vase is the abode of the deity, the ornaments, necklaces, and saddle decorations, the amulet thread is the sign of great compassion, the five medicines are great compassion and bodhicitta, the grains are the nature of the deity, the five precious jewels are the light of the body, the essence is the wisdom of the heart's sphere, incense and so on are the victory of morality and qualities.' So it is said. If there are a definite number of such vases, then in the manner of arranging the symbols in a sand mandala, or on the eight doorframes where the 'stwagön' has been previously performed, eight vases should be placed on each fragrant mandala, and the main vase should be placed in the center. The method of generating the deities in these vases should also be considered according to the way the number of vases is abbreviated from the perspective of the deities. If there is only one Namgyal (Victorious One), then all the deities are generated in that one. Placing the action vase to the left of the east door is the Indian custom. Placing Namgyal on a throne has scriptural and logical objections. Because it is said that this is not needed in the net of light, the base of the vase, including the stand, is discarded, and the three vases are placed together. So it is said. In this way, the empowerment substances are considered to be suddenly emanated from the heart of the mandala lord, or they are the temporary hand symbols of the empowerment deities who are immediately invited.

Homage. Regarding the place of generating deities, some ancient people thought that the Action and Performance Tantras were visualized on the conch shell mouth above the vase, and the Yoga and Anuttara Tantras were generated inside the vase. However, the conch shell mouth or skull cup above the vase, and the skull vessel mentioned in the Anuttara Tantra, are merely vessels for offering. As stated in the "Two Examinations": "Everything from water, in a small cup, slightly poured, from the (Tibetan: བཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: वं) syllable generated, placed above the precious vase of Heruka, there the mandala should be generated." This is a direct understanding of this statement, and thus it is considered a directional error to generate inside the vase. Therefore, although in all dharmas, the deity is generated in the vase in the same way, the difference between inviting the wisdom deity in the Yoga Tantra and below, and the dissolution of the vow and wisdom into the great bliss-emptiness in the Anuttara Tantra, is worth studying. Especially in the case of the Anuttara Tantra, the offerings such as the conch shell mouth above the Heruka vase, smeared with incense and the five amṛtas, are recited with "Om Vajra Amṛtodaka Ṭhaḥ Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏོ་ད་ཀ་ཋ་ཧཱུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र अमṛतोदक ठः हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra amṛtodaka ṭhaḥ hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Amrita, Water, Ṭhaḥ, Hūṃ) and the three syllables seven times, blessed into wisdom amṛta, visualizing those fine particles of water as having the nature of vajra, and finally, through recitation, the deity dissolves into light as a condition of the offering. The Vajramāla masters first invite the deity, and then perform the recitation, and also believe that the deity of the action vase does not dissolve. If that were the case, the activity of dispelling obstacles would be confused. At those times, the Indians had two views on whether to generate the vase as a palace, but like Heruka, it is more common and excellent to generate according to Kukkuraja's pure union, with the rituals of the supported and the supporter. According to the latter, the deity of about three deities is generated on the lotus and other cushions inside the vase, and most action vases are like this. Whenever the assembly of deities supported inside the vase is clearly visible, the light emitted from the seed syllable in the heart invites the wheel of wisdom, and offerings and praises are made in the manner of the non-duality of vow and wisdom, which is the ritual of the Anuttara Tantra. However, in the Sutra Illusion and other scriptures, there is a separate limb-completion ritual. Fourth, disciple preparation: First, the teacher himself.
